If you're going to Michigan, we didn't use a textbook for histo over the summer.

Can any current dental students tell me what Histology textbook their class is using?
Christmas is right around the corner and I, being a cool kid, am asking santa for a histo book
Ross and Pawlina have a good book combining molecular biology and histology. I liked it for undergrad.
Junqueira's Basic Histology: Text & Atlas 14th ed.
If you're trying to specialize in OMFS and waste your break/2nd semester of undergrad, just start studying for the medical boards. If you need to prestudy just to do well in dental school, I'm pretty sure you're going to get beaten out by people who don't need to do that and still make A's.Can any current dental students tell me what Histology textbook their class is using?

At Rutgers, we used Junqueira as well. Although to be honest, I haven't looked at a textbook all semester. If you're really eager to study something before school starts, familiarize yourself with gross anatomy, particularly of the head and neck. But if you can, try to enjoy yourself before the dental school avalanche begins!
