16 hours of biology!!!!!????? Does that include biochemistry???

I have 12 hours of biology, but that includes 4 credits from biochemstry......I only took 2 bio course at 4 credit, and then I have 4 credtis of biochemstry, is this included as a chemistry or biology....so I have to take 4 more biology credtis now...why do they include 16 hours!!! thats double the amount than most.

Any way to get around this? thank you.

i think they want you to take advanced biology courses of some sort.

Did you take the labs to go with the classes? Those should help fill up the missing credits.

I think that they want u to take some adv. bio classes too. Biochem should fall under chemistry. Try to take some bio courses that interest you.

im in a MPH program right now...i can't really fit bio courses in them...UGH!!

When I took biochem is was listed under 2 different listings... BIOL483 and CHEM483. You could register under either listing. So it was considered both a Biology class and a chem class depending on which one you signed up for.

i had a similar problem as i am not a bio major...

i suggest going 2 another school of at all possible that does nto have this requirement

i dropped UHS because i would have 2 take 2 extra classes
