sorry if this is a dumb question, but are interviews 1 on 1 or in groups.

I had a 2-1 interview. One is the professor at the pharmacy school and the other one is a student at the pharmacy school.

Depends on the school. Texas Tech had a professor and a P1 student interview me. At UT it was a sole professor, but they usually have a professor and a student do the interview. Texas A&M was the most interesting and, in my opinion, the best structured interview. They had one staff (either professor or other college administrator) and two pharmacist managers from the local area interview me. I believe this panel type of structure helps to avoid a student's being shot down or, conversely, falsely over-elevated by just one person's opinion.

look at the interview feedback if you're looking for a specific school.... mine were mixed too, but most of them had 2 or 3 interviewers
