my interview is at 1pm. I am planning to fly out in early morning and to arrive 10am ish so that i have some buffer hours.

I am just debating if I book a hotel or not. I am sure interview will be over by 6pm and I am also planning to fly back 6-7pm ish and get home before Midnight.

I want to save up money as much as possible since I am sooo broke. but at the same time, I don't wanna wear a suit from 6am to 6pm (or till interview is over.)

Booking a hotel gives me (i guess) a sense of comfortableness cuz I will be traveling in comfortable clothes, have a place to get changed, take time to get ready, and psych myself up for interview.

But then it seems a little ridiculous to blow money like that especially when I am not even spending a night.

any thoughts, guys??

Wear comfy stuff and change in the destination airport's stalls. I'd be more worried about the buffer times. Sometimes flight get delayed for 3+ hours...

i wouldnt get a hotel, find somewhere to change and bring some professional bag with you, that should be fine.

id save my $$$ for when I really need it, comfy is a state of mind 🙂

if you're not planning on spending the night.. stick to your original plan.. you can change into your suit when you arrive at the airport terminal..

there has been quite a few flight delays so you might want to re-think your buffer hours

Not that I think you should get a hotel but don't most hotels have check-in times in the afternoons and checkouts around 11 am or 12?

that's a good question.

I just looked up the flights. Earliest flight arrival is at 1:30. NOT gonna work.
I just fly a day early and hang at the hotel.

thanks for the advice ppl!

Yes, I was just going to suggest that.

Also, despite your buffer time, airplane rides are NOT the most relaxing and are pretty stressful. Would not want to be in a bad mood at the interview. Fly in a day early, take some time for yourself in a hotel, and make it count. GL
