1st year of pharmacy school considered Undergrad (for Fin. Aid)?

MCPHS - Worcester considers the 1st year undergraduate for financial aid/FAFSA purposes..

Thought that weird. Can't be independent the 1st year of pharmacy school.

a lot of schools do this....

at some the first 2 years are considered undergrad

Ultracet's correct, for FAFSA purposes most school don't consider you a graduate student until your P3 year.
 
Some of the schools I looked at considered all 4 years as "graduate" and other schools considered the first year as "undergrad." Ask the school.
 
It also depends on if you already have your degree. At UF, many students without degrees got screwed their first year and didn't get the same amount of money from government loans as the rest of us w/ degrees. It really sucked for them.
