I have 2.5 weeks left until my Step 1 exam. My USMLEWorld cumulative average is 66% (I've been doing a lot of random blocks, with 400 questions to go). Two weeks ago, I got a 216 on the CBSSA Form 7. Today, I got a 225 on Form 6. I have identified my two weak areas, Renal and Respiratory... but what should I do to bring them up? Read Rapid Review? I've already done all of the Kaplan & USMLEWorld QBank questions in those areas, and obviously I've studied the First Aid sections multiple times.

Sometimes, I feel so burnt out that I just want to take this exam already... at this point, I'm looking to match into gas...

hey those two happened to be my weak areas as well and I got down hard with reading BRS physio first followed by RR and FA in that order, with re-run of UW qs on em- seemed to have worked for me. Kaplan says human retention is best if the matter is reviewed within 48 hrs, so try to make it a point to review the hard to remember facts frequently.

I get that feeling, I am almost pulling my hair out here with shorter than 2 weeks ticking.... 😳

But hang in there.Makes it all worth it in the end 👍

+1 on RR/BRS/FA, can't go wrong with those. don't forget some of the renal type stuff is in the water and electrolyte balance chap in rr and some of the resp. stuff is in the first chapter I think
