Primary was verified 7/2, but due to work and family hardship that I have explained in my secondaries, my secondaries are very late. I am very grateful for my 2 IIs and am aware that some people have 0. I added schools on 10/15 and 11/1, and I am willing to keep submitting secondaries to maximize my chances of getting accepted this cycle. I applied only MD.

When should I stop submitting secondaries? If there is any more information that would be helpful to you all, just let me know. Thanks!

Finally got my 3rd II last week. Interview will be on 3/31. On WL for 1 program with no more offers probably until ~4/30 (they don't send R). 2nd program will start to accept mid-late Feb. More info in the signature.

How worried should I be about reapplying?

I don't understand the question. Why would you be worried about reapplying if the reason for your lack of success is the fact that your secondaries were "very late"? The fact you received any IIs at all (especially under these circumstances) means that you are a very viable candidate!

Sure, it would be better if you weren't a reapplicant, but that train has already left the station, so what good does worrying do?

Thanks for your reply. Some clarification: I'm a first time applicant, and I'm trying to gauge how much effort I should be putting into reapplying (if any). If I should be working on a reapplication, I would like to start ASAP. Hope that helps.

You should always consider yourself rejected and working on Plan B until you get that accept email in your Inbox.

That does clear things up!! 🙂 What would you be doing ASAP between now and end of May?

Again, to me, given that you received 3 IIs under these circumstances tells me you are good as-is (i.e., you don't have major gaps in stats, ECs, essays, etc. that need attention). If it were me, I'd try to chill until I knew my IIs weren't going to turn into at least one A, because, other than the fact that your late secondaries killed your chances to get more IIs, it doesn't really sound like you're in terrible shape. I really think you have a decent shot at getting at least one A.

After all, other than making yourself feel like you're doing something, what can you possibly do in the next 3 months that you can't do starting in June, assuming you are going to need another cycle?
