1 - The physician I follow is my Aunt. She is a brilliant physician and is affiliated with the school I wish to enter. Am I allowed to use her as a physician LOR?

2 - I am very close to a physician who recently retired. Whether she still has her license, I cannot say. But would her LOR count as a physician's now that she is no longer workin?

1. Probably not a good idea??? She is still your family.... But I think I saw somewhere that you can still get it from a family member as long as you state it.
2. I don't think it matters if the physician is retired or not because LOR can be basically from anyone.... I wouldn't mind getting an LOR from Ben Carson (besides his political stances).

If the school knows that you are related to your aunt, that's probably good enough... Lucky bastard....
