Is there any benefit in doing 2 practice tests in 2 days? I am about to start polishing off AAMC and Kaplan tests but the way my schedule is I can only take them back to back since I have 2 days in the week with a free uninterrupted 4 hour block.

I am wondering if the PT on the second day will be a wasted effort.

I don't think this is a great idea. You are likely to feel burnt out taking them so close together. When is your test date?

I'm out of school but I have heavy work responsibilities. I do have down time at work to study but I can't do any sit down timed sections.

I'm thinking maybe full test day 1 then do 2 practice sections the next day in the areas I did worst on. That might actually be more effective.

I will begin next week doing full tests.

Bad idea to do 2 tests back-to-back. You'll learn much more from simply spending 1 day doing the practice test, then reviewing the test on the other day. Taking two tests back-to-back without studying in between is likely to result in basically the same score, and the same areas of strength and weakness. Meanwhile, you can spend time wisely by doing a test and just going over it and strategically picking apart areas you did well / not so well so you can target what content still needs more review.
