1. Should a publication be quickly summarized in its activity slot? I know you wouldn't for a CV/resume, but does AMCAS want a description along with citation?

2. Would you enter a poster that you're an author of but did not go along with everyone to present?

Please and thank you🙂

1. Sure; you have a bunch of characters, there's no reason to not use them if you have something relevant to say.

2. I would.

Okay 1 more thing...

If we're interested in pursuing an MS degree or taking a year out for biomedical research and obtaining the MS degree (schools such as VCU, Toledo, Duke, Pitt have this option)...do we check the MD/MS option under graduate options in AMCAS, and not "MD only?" I was thinking no, since you can apply to the program while in med school and write about this interest in secondaries, but I didn't want to close a door on something by not checking it.....

I can't believe I've come up with so many questions when I'm about to submit!!

1. Maybe, but be brief. If you have an activity section for your research you've probably already kind of talked about this.

2. I would. You can also be a co-author of an oral presentation.
