2 quick questions

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
1) How many times a year is the DAT administered?
Year round, multiple days throughout the week (usually two different times each day to choose from).
2) How far in advance of the test date should one begin studying for the DAT? 2-3 months ok?
Yes, that is a reasonable amount of time, though the amount of time necessary is different for everyone, and can also be impacted by how recently the material was covered in classes.

In addition to what the above poster said, you register for the DAT through prometric, you can check the dates of availability, and where its available by going to their website. For me, there was like 4 within 20-30 minutes driving, each with different available days/times. The earlier u register, the better chance u get of getting the day you want.

With regards to the second question, it is definitely different for everyone. I've been pushing back my DAT for forever because I dont feel ready haha, so its really whenever you think you are prepared.
