I haven't been studying as much as I wished to. My MCAT is on Jan 15 and I need to prioritize.
The only FL's I have taken are AAMC 3 (11/10/10), 4 (15/11/11), 5 (14/11/13), 7 (13/11/13) and 8 (14/11/12). The cumulative scores have been awfully consistent but I'd be happy with a 37. And yes I took AAMC 3 before I started studying.

I have the following prep materials to go through. Realistically I can't do every one of them in 2 weeks. I need to prioritize and would like advice:

TBR Gen Chem, except Chapter 10. (* By "except" I mean I have covered them already)
TBR Orgo, except Chapter 1 & 2.
TBR Bio: 2 diagnostic tests at the end
TBR Physics: Everything but fluids and optics (actually I still think my weakest are optics and fluids. Might go over it again)
The entire TPRH Science Workbook

And yesterday I found out that there is AAMC Self-Assessment Package. I haven't bought it but since it is from AAMC, I am thinking working on this instead of the aforementioned materials will be of higher yield. But it is damn $108.00. I already spent hundreds of dollars on the books a half of which I won't even look at on top of $200+ on AAMC tests.

So I guess my question boils down to: Should I purchase the Self Assessment Package published by AAMC and work on it first? Or should I go over the books that I already have? Maybe I should buy the SA package only for VR and BS?

Thank you in advance.

Spend the next two days on content review with a third day to review all content (if needed)

Gen Chem all chapters = 8hours or less
Physics all chapters review = 5hours or less (seriously, the chapters are like 15 pages 😛)
Orgo 6chapters = 1 day + a few hours
BIO Forget about the diagnostic tests, and move on to the TPR SWB

Complete your review, and then solve copious amounts of passages from TPR SWB, and order AAMC's Verbal SA. Don't forget to write at least 2 more FLs (10&11). You have plenty of time. All the best! 🙂

Thank you for the advice! By review, you don't mean reading the entire books, right? Because I don't think I can read 6 books in two days. Then how would you review them? Any website you would recommend? Also, I did content review using the EK books a couple months ago, but I do agree with you that I need a quick content review again because I am forgetful.

Actually you said "the chapters are like 15 pages" for physics... so I guess you meant reading the whole thing. This is why my VR shows no improvement lol. I don't think I have enough endurance to spend 12+ hours just reading but will try my best... Thanks anyways!

@RDBK

Take Chapter 2 of Physics for example. Are you seriously going to review Newton's laws at this point? I know I wouldn't. Focus on concepts that aren't clear to you, equations that you haven't committed to memory, and relationships between variables and concepts. How much time will you spend reading Newton's laws? Maybe a minute or two.

How will you know whether you've covered your bases? Maybe you were skimming too quickly? After each chapter compare your knowledge to this website http://mcat-review.org/
That's what I'm doing today actually 🙂

Try putting it 8hours today and finish off Gen Chem and Physics.
