Hey guys!
I am seeing the finish line and am seeking advice on how to spend the last two weeks before I take this exam. Before I begin, I would like to thank all of you guys for this support, I would not have had this knowledge had it not been for this forum! and a special special thanks to SN2ed!

So I have been following Sn2ed's schedule w/ slight modification (used TPR totally for content) and now am in the practice test phase. These are my scores:
AAMC 4 (33) 13PS-9VR-11BS
AAMC 5 (34) 13PS-8VR-13BS
AAMC 6 (36) 13PS-10VR-13BS
AAMC 7 (37) 15PS-9VR-13BS [30/40 in verbal]
So after AAMC 5's verbal, I discovered a verbal strategy that worked for me and did bassically 2 GS verbal passages and got 30 and 31 out of 40. So for 4 consecutive tests I have been scoring 30/40 in verbal.
1.Do you guys think that it is reasonable to get a 10 on the verbal? I am planning to do 1 full length verbal every day.
2.Based on my scores in general, what would you guys think would be the most effective thing for me to do at this point in addition to reviewing my full lenghts?

THANKS!!!!!

It all depends on what works for you. If I were you, I would study some VR for a few days (make sure you don't get tired of it!), and then one day of PS/BS to keep it fresh in your mind. I wouldn't try to learn any new tricks for VR in 2 weeks, it will only make you panic. Just practice using whatever book you have (EK worked for me), and take the AAMC practice tests, focusing on verbal. Your scores look great btw!

Thanks for the advice! So do you think that this final plan should be good (just want to make sure)
1. Continue to finish AAMCs 8-10 and thoroughly review all sections in days between
2. Take a full length verbal in days between and thoroughly review those tests
3. In the BS section, all my mistakes come from bio so I was thinking of doing TPR science workbook bio (have about 1/2 left) and TBR bio (also about 1/2 left) in order to gain confidence in the subject.
What do you think about this plan?

Thanks again

a 13 for a section is very good. It won't make that much difference if you get 14s over 13s, unless you are going for a top school, or have a lower GPA. what WILL make a difference, though, is bringing up your verbal from 9s to 10+. Many schools consider that the most important section. You seem to be fine on other things, so don't ignore them completely, but focus on the verbal. btw, 8-10 are the most recent AAMC tests, and most realistic (according to most people).

If you are happy with your AAMC scores to this point, then stop scoring any future FLs. Just do everything for exposure knowing you are on pace to get a great score. Passages are the most important thing from now until your MCAT. I'd strongly suggest you do the phase 3 passages from any BR books you have, because this is the period of your studies that they're specifically designed for. Get exposed to as many random things as possible, and be sure to notice whenever the passage and questions seem hard at first, but are actually based on fundamental science and are easy once you get past the initial anxiety. On the MCAT this year so far, those type of questions have been hurting some test takers, so if you walk in completely ready for those mentally, you'll be sitting in a good place.

Best of luck!
