I have gone through USMLE world twice. Ate crap the first time cuz I just wanted to know the explanations and I learn better with questions rather than simply just memorizing stuff over and over again.

Since I have "run out" of new questions...which Q-bank should I use for the last two weeks?

Kaplan or USMLERx. I kinda like the idea of Rx b/c it will reiterate First Aid again....but I dunno.

any suggestions??

thanks,

I would highly recommend that you do the 5 NBMEs. they are more representative than UW, and you could potentially have questions repeated on your Step 1 test.

Kaplan and USMLERx are very large question banks (2000+ questions), and are not very represenative of the real test - so this might not be the most efficient way of spending the last 2wks. there are cheaper and easier ways of memorizing FA.

Good Luck

I would echo LankySudanese; time would be better spent doing the nbme's-at least the most current 4.

If you've run out of USMLEWorld questions, I think the NBMEs might be a good way to go. They are expensive, though. Do them in tutor mode and look up the answers and explanations as you go.

Lots of :luck:

thanks,

Screw Qbank or USMLERx.

Hit up Robbins Review questions if you still want to learn stuff, otherwise the NBME's to gauge your performance.
