Did anyone who has two years of undergrad only (with junior standing) get accepted to any Optometry school?

Good call, rather than continuing to hijjack the other thread!!!

I'd don't know of any program that will allow anything below 3 years of undergrad.

Waterloo does. I got an interview last year with only 2 years, but didn't quite cut it. Also, one girl on this forum said she got in with 2 years last year. I can't remember the exact thread tho.

Let me revise...I don't know of any US program that allows less than 3 years.

Waterloo actually just changed their requirements so that no less than 3 years is acceptable.

What I am saying is two years with junior standing. not just regular two years. In other words, U have at least 90 semester units or 135 quater units, but u have been going to college for two years only.

For the class starting in 2008.

I understand, but I'm still pretty sure they require 3 years regardless of the number of credits you have earned.

more and more schools are going BS/BA manditory. ( as honestly, I think it should be)

This is the official words from Todd from PCO. It doesnt matter how many years of undergrad u have, as long as you have 90 semester units or 135 quater units, u are eligible for admission. I just came back from the interview. I hope this will encourage people to take more classes.
PS> Very important thing. AP credits are counted toward 90 semester units.
