I did ask a professor for a letter of recommendation in person and she said she would write me one. However, this was more than 2 years ago and I live 4+ hours away from my school's town.
I doubt sending her an email would prove a good letter of recommendation, but I am not taking any other classes and have a full time job.
I do have a co-worker that used to teach classes in California and is a doctor, who stated he would write me one. Would that suffice for an academic letter of recommendation?
What would be the best course of action to get a good letter of recommendation?
