<20 DAT Past Acceptances

Anyone fom past years with below 20 DAT score care to share if they were accepted and their sats? I know a lot of us average DAT folk wonder this lol.

Also, there are entire threads dedicated to people with "below average" stats... Once again, though, a 20 isn't average.

..? <20 would mean 0-19... <=20 would mean 0-20.. Remember less than/greater than/ equal to, back in algebra 1? I said below 20. Not 20 and below.. Read carefully next time before u try n make someone else look stupid

On the topic of "stupid" things, not using the search feature might qualify as one. Like I said, there are popular and extensive threads about such things. Nobody was trying to make you look stupid. We're just pointing something out because people on here are quick to assume that 22+ is the "norm" or something; it freaks people out and is without reason.

Also, with the average being a 19 (really closer to a 20--I'd be surprised if it doesn't make the full jump after this cycle), that means that a slew of people are accepted with lower scores. Don't think that SDN is an accurate representation. We're a very small portion of the applicant pool.

I know there are also tons of threads with more individualized stories out there.
If you see someone post in a thread like this that they had a 19 or below and applied, check their post history and view their more recent posts. They might talk about their interview experiences and where they were accepted (or rejected).

Well, this got interesting fast. With the recent jump in the average, I wouldn't use past cycle stats as much of a predictor, gauge, or comforter. I'm still holding to the Chad theory. Boosting TS and AA scores across the globe!

You might want to refresh your understand of the basic statistical concepts of mean (average)/median. You can check the distribution by DAT scores in the Guide p. 67.
