i imagine many of the questions will be the same...no harm is starting....just remember to transfer them to the 2005 form when its available

no invitations, just making a list to get an idea of what the secondaries are like and to hopefully start working on some of the more difficult essay type questions that are on some of them! 😎

Is this Columbia app for this year? Because it is a mini AMCAS. I heard they switched over this year...maybe I wasn't suppossed to fill all of this stuff out.
Anyone know anything?

i am not 100 % sure if columbia's is for this years. however, it did say that an amcas id was required in order to start the secondary, and this is the first year that columbia is using amcas, so i suppose yes.

That is what I was thinking. Also, before it was up, it said that it would be available starting 6/15. I guess they are trying to smooth out the kinks between the old and new ways by having this complicated secondary...

Yes, this happens during housekeeping when the list is cut-and-pasted. I usually went back and repaired the broken links and I'll do it again next time there is an addition.

Is the Columbia secondary pissing anyone else off? Why oh why do I have to re-enter all of my course work? Keep in mind that I have 4 years undergrad, 4 years grad. Ugh! I hope that this is the worst of it 🙁

I submitted mine today, first secondary in, who hooo! The worst for me was that stupid question about satisfations...

out of state with a 30+ you will get a secondary
, that is only real screen...in state people have to get 8 7 8 at least, with a certain gpa...but no one on here is a cheesehead but me and akpete

You'll be able to create a new account starting july 1st

I just talked to Columbia on the phone today, they said nothing about extra transcripts. I do need to mail letters and a pic to them. She said everyone who has an ID number can apply, so get it in!

LOR are needed seperate from the online app. They also told me to submit address changes over mail.

Also note, my secondary at Wash U was accepted (only $50!), so they are ready to rock and roll.

I just checked my Columbia secondary, and I was able to login and access the application no problem.
