Please list the school, when the application was completed according to the school, and if/when you get an interviews.

This should give yall a pretty useful measuring stick to figure out when things are going to happen.

Should have opened this thread 15 days later.
 
FYI - several people in Texas are already getting interviews for mid to late August.
 
Spoke with some admission ppl at U of Iowa and they said no invites for regular applicants until EDP is done. So, the invites won't start until September/October. I have awhile to wait... 🙄
 
Hey there! My TMDSAS app was processed for Texas Tech, A&M, UTSW, UTSA, and UTMB on July 21. However, I still need to do the secondary apps for UTSW and A&M....the TT and UTSA ones were easy so they got finished first.

It's amazing that people are already getting invites for mid-August in Texas schools....I hope I hear something soon! Does anybody know how soon after TMDSAS processed that they heard something from the schools and what method of correspondance they used? Just curious and feeling impatients....like waiting for the MCAT scores wasn't bad enough.

TMDSAS processed 7/21, invite for UT-Houston recieved 7/29 for late august interview.
 
If you got an interview could you please write how you got it: phone call, snailmail, e-mail?
GWU sent interviews already, who else got it?

Howard - never sent a secondary - contacted via impersonal form letter thru snail mail.

If anyone else has had a bizarre Howard experience, I'd love to hear about it.

UMDNJ-Newark (that's the NJMS, I believe) interview on Aug. 25th.

Howard Univ. contacted me via snail mail, on Aug. 2, with an interview to be scheduled on: 9/21 or 9/22 or 10/12 or 10/13.

What do you guys think is the cheapest way to get to new orleans...a certain website or airline?

You can enter "flexible dates" and they will pull up the lowest fare. Then you can pick from the available dates for that fare. I usually go directly to that airlines website and put in the same dates/times for the same itinerary and get it down another $10-20 or so.

Auuughugh... I'm trying to decide how long to postpone this Vandy interview. Vandy is far away for me, so it's rather low on my list, even though it's more highly ranked than many of the local schools I'd prefer to go to.

What do you guys think of the idea of postponing an interview till, say November? I want to see if I get into a local school first, but don't want to totally lose my shot at Vandy either...

That's the right idea. Schools start giving out the first acceptances Oct. 15; thus, giving them a couple weeks range, but not throwing yourself out of Vandy's pool, means November, probably earlier rather than later, works well.
