I saw a similar thread in the osteopathic forum and thought it might be a good idea:

my question: does the 5300 characters of the ps consider a "space" as a character? (with "space" as character my essay has 6900 characters, without "space" as a character, my essay ahs 5700 charaters, so i'm trying to figure out by how much to chop my essay.

cruelly: a space is a character and hitting enter is 2 spaces. you can't indent, so you hit enter between paragraphs. further, i don't know why, but my characetr count comes out a few lower on my computer than it does when i paste it to the website. So, good luck! Conciseness is not one of my strengths. Hopefully it is one of yours...

just a tip: do one space between sentences. it helps 😉

I keep getting error messages when I try to change my primary language to other. 😡

I took April MCAT about 5 weeks ago. Should I wait until get my scores back before submitting the 2006-2007 application online? I have most of the application filled out already except the missing MCAT scores.

PS. Does anyone know when the scores will be out?

60 days from the day you took the test. You can either wait to get your scores back or go ahead and send it...it's your call. The schools won't send you a secondary until July, BUT...you'll be first in line for secondaries and first in line for interviews the earlier you send in your primary and secondary! Just a thought!!! I was the first at most of the schools I applied to for interviews and I was finished interviewing and deciding between schools when many people hadn't even gotten an interview anywhere yet.-that's a nice "place" to be in if you ask me!!
