dear comrades,
now that the ides of march have (nearly) come and gone, and many of us are suffering from acute post-traumatic stress disorder from the ordeal, i wanted to get an idea of where MSTP applicants stood with respect to waitlists. i seem to be getting my fair share in the process -- after flat post-interview rejections from harvard and cornell, i'm also looking at the following "alternate" lists:
UCSF (as well as "high priority" MD)
UCLA-Caltech
Columbia
... and probably Yale on Friday, if I'm that lucky.
For those who are interested, I turned down USC-Caltech and a MD-only offer at Stanford and am currently planning on attending the Mount Sinai MSTP. I'm wondering if there are others out there in a similar situation....
Here's to several more months of waiting.
