Good luck to all those participating in the DO match tomorrow! Hope we all get our #1!

Is there anywhere that nonparticipants can view the match results as far as unfilled programs? Not applying to any just curious to see how certain programs did.
Got my #1 choice as well. Ob/gyn with Midwestern's program! Box are you coming to St. james in chicago???? its been years since we chatted it up.
Congrats to all who matched today!!!!
Just curious, anyone match into EM? 🙂
Also, it is interesting to see that almost 1000 spots were unfilled via the osteopathic match. I don't think that this will continue to happen (they will probably end up closing programs). I think the AOA should incentivize going into an osteopathic residency with higher resident salaries! 😉
I matched EM as well.
That just means that the residency is affiliated/sponsored by NSUCOM. In no way does it mean only students from there can do residency at that institution.Question,
looking at the match list posted above, I was wondering about the residencies that have a schools name by it. For example in my home state of Georgia, this is one of the listed spots:
NSUCOM/MED COLLEGE OF GEORGIA
AUGUSTA\
Does, that mean that only Nova students can fill the spots? I'm going to be attending GA-PCOM in the Fall and was just curious about opportunities to stay in state. Thanks!

Look like everything filled but Fm and Some Im
It's really not quite that cut and dried. There are some good "specialty" positions left for the scramble:

And, if you're interested in how many from your school entered or matched:

I saw a couple specialties remained empty, but those will certainly fill after the scamblers from the MD match, but the far majority of spots open were FM, then the IM programs that dont have fellowships attached to them.

...I thought those numbers are for osteopathic residencies only ...
In sheer numbers, maybe, but look at the percentages:
Percent unfilled:
Anesthesiology 16% (4 of 25)
EM 7% (13 of 136)
FP 6% (310 of 554)
FP/EM 22% (2 of 9)
Surgery 12% (12 of 99)
IM 5% (152 of 327)
IM/EM 50% (10 of 20)
Neurosurgery 11% (2 of 18)
OB/GYN 28% ((23 of 82)
Ortho 1% (1 of 73)
Peds 25% (14 of 57)
So, percentage-wise, IM and FP aren't doing all that bad.
Sticky keys...😳
Wow, I am surprised that programs like gas and rads still had spots remaining. I thought they would be the first to go. Where is derm though??

Did anyone here match oto-facial plastic?? (Just curious)

I didn't realize there were so few spots available in the DO match. For example only 25 spots for Anesthesia total? Imagine how few spots there are available in the area you hope to live.
