hey guys,
got final decision status 3/1
got letter on 3/8.. wiatlisted
but i interviewed on 1/05 so you guys can try and get an idea about your final decisions
 
Anybody know if a lot of students live downtown or are they all up by the school??

When did your status change to it is in the hands of the committee?
 
Just got home from work and what do i see..."A final decision has been reached and a letter will be mailed to your preferred address." Here is the approximate timeline:
Interview 1/9
Member 1/18
Committee 1/25
Final decision 3/11
Letter :xf:

Haha, I'm never going to be sent to committee.

just got "A decision has been reached and a letter will be mailed to a preferred address."

Has anyone noticed a difference between "a decision has been reached" and "a final decision has been reached"? :-/

Hm...mine also says "a decision has been reached." interviwed 1/7....hope this doesn't imply waiting list...hate wait list...
 
I interviewed yesterday 3/11 and my status has already changed to under review by a member of the committee. Maybe they are starting to speed things up? I hope so because 8 weeks is a long time! Then again, it may be because they meet on Thursdays also?

I dont think they are. I interviewed 1/14 on a thursday and a member of the adcom had it that monday. and was sent to committee a week later on 1/25...I've been waiting for a decision for over 8 weeks now. I remember i thought the same thing, that they may be doing it fast since mine was with a member of the adcom so soon.

You're most likely next in line. Look for a status change next Thursday. This year is particularly slower then any other years. I guess that is expected when 12,000+ apply.
 
I just don't understand how my application could be a member's hand for 9 weeks. What has this person been doing?!?!

ANyone else been stuck at member of the committee for a long time? If so, how long?
 
9 Weeks post-interview and status is still..."Your interview has been scheduled, please wait...."...i guess i'm one of the 37 week ones 🙁
 
Is anyone who's unable to attend the accepted student's day already called/going to call the admissions office to "revisit" the school? Does anyone know what a revisit would entail? Just more tours, following a current student around, etc.?

Its going to be a long week for us. Can't wait to get that letter...well hopefully we get a background check e-mail before anything.
 
speaking about background check. I got an email from AMCAS about a week ago, but nothing from Certiphi. How long did u guys have to wait for Certiphi email?
 
Rejected. Took one week since the final decision notice for the letter to reach me. Interviewed on 1/05. Letter received on 3/08

a woman could give birth to another human being in the time it takes drexel to make some of its admissions decisions.

Ouch! I didn't know they were out right rejecting already. Hopefully you have something else lined up. How was your interview? Anything you can think of that stood out in your app process that resulted in this? You did interview so you must of had average numbers.

This has me a bit scared as Im waiting for my letter to arrive. Just trying to figure out what size envelope is in transit.
 
Geez, how long does it take for the USPS to take a letter from Queen Ln. to their processing center, to a mail carrier, and then my mail box? I could've driven over and picked up the letter myself.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I interviewed 1/05 and still haven't even had a status change. I'm trying not to speculate too much though... just hoping for the best!
 
All this talk about waiting since January, HA! I laugh at you all, ive been waiting since early November and still under review by a committee member (my humor is all I have left ...... tear). Anyway, consider yourself lucky. Good luck to all of you.

Dang.. have you tried calling them asking what the heck is up?
 
Nothing in the mail today. Final decision status was up 3/11. How long will this letter take to get to Boston?!? In the meantime, any 1/9 interviewers get the background check e-mail? I haven't its making me nervous...I hope its not a absolute must that you get the email before you get accepted.

When did your status turn to committee?
 
Got my acceptance letter today!!!!!!

So, it was a 6 day wait and I live only 15 minutes from the Queen Ln. campus.

The background check was mentioned in the letter, so I do not know if there will be an email regarding the background check.
 
i know that there are still 2 months till may 15th - but...any Waitlist movement yet???
