yea they take forever to send you the secondary but I heard that after you submit it they get back to you in like 2-3 weeks.
 
Added the school 2 weeks ago and still no secondary. Probably wont even fill out the secondary now
 
Very strange Never got an email inviting me for an interview, but when I checked the status page it said "Schedule Interview". No congratulations, no indication at all that I had been invited. It was almost like they just let anyone schedule an interview. But I'm happy.

Congrats! Same here. I checked my status update and had an interview invite. They also said that if we hadn't gotten an email with an invite, they were planning to do it later-- so if we continued to wait, it would eventually come. =) However, I decided to go ahead and schedule it, and I promptly received a confirmation email.

Maybe this is their way of weeding out certain applicants. It's not really fair, though, since most schools (at least the ones that I applied to) do not even have a status page.
 
how long does it usually take people to be marked complete?

You will get an email later even if the status page changes.

hah, wow. good thing i checked my status page just now after seeing so many others that said they got invites on the status check page! yay!

Complete 9/4/09, invite (dunno when, saw it just now) 9/17/09

Have interviews here started already or are the first ones next week. I was just wondering if anyone has had their interview here yet and how it went for them.

I'm feeling a little nervous about my own, I guess. 😳:scared:

Hi guys,

I have an interview next month at another PA school. I also received an invite from Drexel but earliest was Nov. Do you think I can call Drexel and move the invite? Has anyone done it, I don't want them to think negatively that I'm interested in other schools more than theres.
 
Also, anyone have the US World Report data on how many are accepted from interview? Not matriculated but accepted.

I was complete back on 8/5 and my status still says "no decision available". I guess that's better than a hold or rejection but seeing all these quick turnarounds is making me really anxious!

I'm worried without an essay on the secondary they're wondering why in the world some random girl from Texas would apply to Drexel and don't think I'm serious about attending. 🙁

I submitted yesterday. While I haven't gotten a complete email, my status says I'm complete. Maybe you should try checking your status page if you haven't received a emailed status update in a long while? They don't make it obvious on the page... look closely.
 
got an interview, but never got an e-mail. def. check your status online!

Drexel is mean on the phone...id give it till 3 tomorrow at the earliest before calling...thats when i plan to call.

i think these ppl see the first page with the 2nd link and think theyre complete, but if you go to the page with the link that says "view decision" it says "Status: Incomplete" for me, even though the first page says they got everything....its a bit strange.

i just checked..i was marked complete today.
 
That's pretty good... more than 50% chance now for those with an interview there.

I have been thinking about the acceptance rates after interviews for different schools. Many of the schools I applied to are close to 50%. However, I think that an earlier interview date is an even higher chance. Especially since I am sure that some people who apply to these schools as safety schools decide to blow off the interview when they realize they have like 10 other ones from top tier schools.

It seems that most schools are offering interviews to the best candidates first. However, I think drexel is a little different because I remember someone complaining about not getting an interview after they got one from Penn and Duke and such.

Anyways so what I am saying is that for those of us who really want to go to this school, I think that we have a good chance of getting in as long as we don't blow the interview.

One thing to consider though is that lots of the acceptances might have come from the waitlist, so the straight acceptance rate is probably considerably less than 50%.
 
I just called them today about my status, and they told me that I haven't paid. Funny because my credit card was charged $75. I have the receipt printed out, but for some reason I am not getting anywhere with them...

Have you tried faxing or emailing them your receipt as proof?
