Does anyone know the schedule of the interview day? What time is the day's events over? I'm trying to determine whether it's feasible to catch a 6:00pm flight out of philadelphia after the interview.

We finished today by 2 p.m, I think you'll be safe making a 6:00 flight. For everyone interviewing, it's a very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone I talked to today had friendly, laid-back interviews.

Is there anyone still waiting for their secondary from Drexel? I was verified mid-July, have completed all my secondaries aside from Drexel and OHSU (but OHSU is notoriously slow). Since they don't screen, it seems odd that some people are still waiting for secondaries from Drexel... 😕

I'm still waiting. Although I added Drexel to my AMCAS after being verified, so it wasn't sent to them until 9/2. Still seems like an unnecessarily long time for no screening...

hmmm anyone know if I cancel my interview date, will I be able to register for another date online? I'm interviewing Nov. 3 but I have another interview on the east coast on Oct. 19 and wanted to group them together cuz I'm from Cali. anyone wanna trade interview spots? ;P

If it helps, it took a good 2 weeks or so for me to receive the secondary.

I added them before I was verified. I am not sure if that really makes a difference.

hey hey could kids interviewing this week post what they thought/interview feedback. It would be immensely aprecciated!

I interviewed there yesterday and honestly had a great time. I was very impressed with everything it offered and they are building a new sim center which will be open in the fall of this year (but we didn't get to see it bc of construction). The school also has a ton of service opportunities in the area and an extensive network of hospitals, 2 different curricula (problem based in small groups vs. large lectures).

Another big thing I look for is the attitude / stress level of the students, and everyone seemed very happy and not stressed. Students came up to me out of nowhere and talked with me/helped me get around the building/were very friendly. My student interviewer was awesome as well!

I hope they liked me =)

I am not really sure, unofficially of course they said 4-6 weeks until the first decisions go out

If you need a place to stay the night before, I highly recommend Moving Arts Bed and Respite. Pam was really nice and gave me some good information about Philadelphia and Drexel.

Does anyone know the stats of re-evaluating files for this school? Is it in my best interest to send a letter to them updating them on research and volunteering I am doing?

They definitely welcome updates and interest letters, so send something if you feel the need.
