Sorry about your rejections. If you don't mind me asking, how did you find out that you are rejected? Snail mail, email, status page, etc.

same, complete sometime early july like 7/14 no news...i guess its a good thing as maybe they are interested in giving interviews just not yet? At least its not a rejection so im not complaining 🙂.

Interview invite came in around 11:15 this morning -- submitted 8/12, never received a "complete" email, but my LORs were in in early August.

someone had asked about breakfast -- arrival is at 9:30, so I'd doubt it. However, there's a coffee shop in the hospital right next to the Main building lobby, a great cafe/restaurant on the opposite side of the hospital, and a McDonalds in Rosslyn across from the Georgetown Hospital shuttle.
 
Woke up this few minutes ago, reached for my phone in bed To check emails. First email in inbox was rejection from GU. what a nice way to start the day

They don't serve breakfast. But if you're staying in the Conference Center, they have lots of restaurants and fast food places for breakfast. Or you can just use the vending machines.😀
 
Whoo invite! Just need them to come back from their abnormally long lunch so I can call and schedule. With any luck, I can get in on the extra day I scheduled while I'm in DC for my George Washington interview... Yay not having to do another flight from California! :laugh:

Oh, and I was complete 8/10. And yes, I mentioned cura personalis. 😀
 
Conference center was so very convenient and close. Also there is a starbucks in the lobby downstairs to get your fix. The interviews were pretty relaxed and conversational, although I was interviewing with the chair on the admission committee who had just ten minute before given us a 1 hour speech..... (made me sweat bullets at first :scared:)

Beautiful campus and the curriculum sounded so responsive to the students. Definitely moving up to number one on my OOS schools.

Same here, my friend. Except I checked my email in the middle of my first class. I don't know what we covered after I read it but my notes were certainly lackluster afterwards. 👎
 
AHH invite!

No complete email, avg stats. I think my essay was around 3000 characters

Yeah, Conference center was great. It's really close to the Med-Dent building, so definitely no stress in the morning. Just so freaking expensive.

The area around the medical campus was definitely impressive. I've never seen so many trees.:laugh:

I didn't like the fishbowl too much though.
 
Interviewed yesterday and went really well. It was very relaxed and low stress. Mrs. Sullivan and the interviewer were extremely nice and were not there to "test" you or anything. It's more informative than anything. I am one to usually stress out about things but it seriously wasn't bad at all. Question, anyone know the name of the interview coordinator? Thanks and good luck to all!

Yeah, the Interview Coordinator's super nice. Wonder what his name was, I forget.😳
 
What I thought was pretty funny was when they took us down to the student lounge, and everyone was looking our direction and cracking smiles... that was fun!:scared:

Interview invite on 09/09/09 and I was complete on 08/05/09. cGPA 3.87, sGPA 3.92 and 35S
 
So I was complete via email notice 8/26 and my status page also changed to "Application - Complete" soon after that ... today I logged in again to check and suddenly that disappeared and all I have is "Application certified" which shows up after you submit the secondary. Does this mean my application is not complete anymore, or that they are reviewing now and I should expect news soon? Not sure if I should contact the school and ask if my application is really complete or not..

Right, I did get a complete email. So I guess it doesn't matter that my status page did say complete but now doesn't say complete anymore.

same here...these rejections are piling up. my application must be the epitome of failure ahah. I was complete like 7/25 or something like that.

You know looking back, im wondering if i made a mistake applying to schools like this that get 10k+ apps...so far most of my rejections are coming from these schools, while the "harder" schools or schools that recieve less applications (like 6K or less) are giving me interviews...i guess its just too hard to sift through 13k apps in the end. I really wanted to go to gtown badly though 🙁
 
Reading this is making me dread the e-mail that I will be getting from them sometime soon 🙁

has anyone that completed around 09/08 heard anything from Georgetown other than acknowledgment of materials?
