OOS-complete 9/29, interview invite 10/16, withdrew today. goodluck to everyone here!

Got placed in the "will continue to evaluate" pile recently... Has that happened to anyone else... the same thing happen to me last year. ended up getting interviewed in March and waitlisted...
Would love to go here. I'm from California.

Why did it take from them receiving everything complete from my end on 8/20 until today (10/20) for them to send out the complete email. Are they just that slow or did something get mixed up?

Do they send interview invite by email or snail mail?😕

Anyone here spending the night at the Hershey Days Inn on the night of Dec 6 and want to split the cost? PM me if so (cheapest rate I can find is about $100 for 2 bed room).

If you ask for the medical center rate and tell them you're interviewing, you will get a $50 rate for a room, just FYI. And there's a free shuttle to/from airport and the school.

Awesome! Thanks for this info.

i realllllly liked my visit here.

but i'm having a hard time getting "rankings" etc...i know it's up to the individual, but it's hard for me to get a feel how this is supposedly regarded?

Submitted 7/27, still haven't gotten complete email. I called the admissions office and some snappy lady told me that there is no way she can check on the status of my app and basically I should just sit tight and shut up. I believe my application has been lost to the ether... Starting to lose interest in a school that seems to have little interest in their applicants.

For what it's worth, when I interviewed they were really nice in the office. I think maybe they are just really understaffed or have inefficient review processes. They have interest in us, don't base your opinion on one short interaction with one person (which is hard to do, I know). They must have been getting the same questions daily for months. They will get to your file eventually!

i second the friendliness. definitely some very nice people and genuinely wanted to help me in any way throughout the day.

yes. when i saw someone got an acceptance package while i only had an envelope, i knew itd be sad news

Same here, got the hold list letter today. I guess hold list is better than no list though.

There are SO many people getting this letter in the mail (myself included). I wonder what our real chances of getting an interview are?? Does anyone know?

Avoid the Days Inn. You can get a room at the Marriott Springhill Suites for 80 with the student rate.

The rate at the Days Inn if you tell them you are interviewing is 50.

Mind if I ask when your interviews were?
I've been calling home to check the mailbox all week...
I interviewed about a month ago..

Really? The Days Inn was pretty good. Cheap and free shuttle to/from airport and to/from campus. The people were so nice, too.

Wait, so if you got the "continue to review" letter", what are the chances they will give you an invite later on?

I interviewed on the first interview day, I think it was Sept 9th.

Finally complete today! That took FOREVER! One of my top choice schools, too....

Hey, I interviewed 9/14...

Has anyone heard anything yet?

I have seen one acceptance but that's it.....

I also interviewed around 9/14 and am still waiting on a decision. This is one of my 2 favorite schools, so I'm really hoping to get in. :xf:

when did you submit it?

August 20th.

Didn't realize I was missing one of their letter requirements until Sept. 15, though, and got the new letter in a few weeks later. That was the only thing I figured could be missing from my application, but I had no way of knowing if I needed anything else until they "completed" me (I had called but the lady said that they did not have the manpower to check to see what was missing from my app to make me complete...).

i just got this too. This gives me hope. I heard it was good school except that its like in the middle of nowhere. Hope i eventually get an interview.

Does anyone know what your chances are of getting the interview when they put you in the "continue to evaluate" pile? I'm OOS applicant.

yea, finally got my complete email a couple of days ago. I turned over all the materials to them > 2 months ago.

I'm guessing this is going to take a really, really long time

I got my Interview Offer 2 weeks after being marked complete (and I was marked complete about 2 months after secondary submission) so they definitely aren't too bad. I think they really do spend time going deep into each applicant because my stats definitely aren't good and I'm OOS.

Nove 16th interview canceled.

I'm an OOS with not so good stats, 3.5 gpa and 28N, trying to evaluate my chances. Do you mind sharing your stats? It may give me a clue about my chances of getting an interview here.
