Ok, this makes me a bit worried since I didn' get a decision yet although I interviewed the same day.
anyone interviewed on the 29th and got an acceptance? i was expecting one today.
I interviewed on the 29th, but am still 'interview complete'... You expect an acceptance?
i expect some sort of notification lol. an acceptance would be nice. it's my second time interviewing at temple.
oh 🙂 Hopefully we will hear soon, they might be a little behind, but perhaps after their adcom meeting tomorrow.
okay so what should I make of this? my status page on TMO says I was accepted into the Class of 2012 and the acceptance letter on the status page says Welcome to the Class of 2014...does anybody else with an "acceptance" message have this problem? do you guys think its an acceptance or is it a mistake?!?!
I'm sure it is correct. When did you interview?
last week but they said that we may hear back as soon as October 15th if the interviewers got their recommendations to the AdCom in time...

I really hope so!!! getting into medical school has been a dream for a long time now so every lil thing like this makes me paranoid
Yes, I had another publication and got a second part-time job (teaching microbiology), so I uploaded a letter in the "send us stuff" part of the online app... this was last week.
Not that it has made a difference yet, complete since late July and still no interview!! We'll see...
Not sure...did your letter on the status page have an Temple ID number? mine was blank...and did you have the Class of 2012/2013 messages too?
haha okay i thought that it was a big practical joke...i am going to call them tomorrow to make sure anyway

i'm waitlisted too. i do think they have a lot of waitlist movement though so hopefully we'll get in eventually. didn't you love how the letter started with "we are pleased to inform you that..."?? that sounds like an acceptance to me!

Same. I'm that way with a couple of schools and getting ready to hit the 3 mo mark. I think I may spend next week writing update letters and contacting the office to see what's up.
I'm wondering if I should start losing hope? I've been under review since 8/15 like I'm sure a lot of people have and it freaks me out when I see people like Omzy interviewing already (No disrespect to you, mad congratulations!).
I would love to stay in a city like philly since I've been in boston for the past 4 years, but should I expect an interview? PS11, VR9, BI10 with cGPA 3.63 and sGPA 3.59. Issues first semester brought the GPA down but I believe I have a good upward trend (FR: 3.36, SO: 3.59, JR: 3.83 (including an exta semester in the summer at my undergrad institute)). Good EC and research.

i think if there's any take-home msg from this whole process, it is to not expect anything in particular. best you could do is compare your stats to the matriculating class stats. and if you feel competitive, then that's all you can ask of yourself.

correct. the letter does say there could be limited waitlist movement before may, but yes, it does seem like we'll be waiting a looong time to get an acceptance🙁

Philly is only very cold at night, like Texas? So bring at least 1 thick jacket. It feels humid and is a bit rainy when I was there, so bring an umbrella just in case.
To Question123, Temple doesn't send a completion email. On your application portal, if they've indicated that they've received all your materials, and the status shows "under review," then you're complete. Good luck!
Thank you!! And thanks for the tip! But to be honest, what we consider "cold" is in the 50's. We're wimps when it comes to that. Highs right now are in the 70's and lows are in the 50's... so I'll probably be freezing my butt off in Philly 🙂 The thickest jacket I have right now is a pea coat, haha!
Latuza- sorry I haven't been online in a few days (celebrating haha), but my status changed late Thursday evening (10/15) to accepted. I interviewed on 09/17. I wouldn't worry if you haven't heard back yet though- I remember the admissions office says it depends on what time your interviewer sent in his/her review. Good luck
