I've got the same status change, from under review (complete in August) to correspondence mailed. I'm 99% sure this is a rejection. Kind of weird they would send emails to some but letters to others.
Yes, this appears to be odd. Wouldn't everyone's secondary application fee at least cover the cost of a postage stamp? I called the Temple admissions office earlier and they were unable to tell me what information is conatained in the letter. Also, I have been glancing over this entire thread and have determined that a "CORRESPONDENCE MAILED" status post-interview equates to either being placed on the waitlist or an outright rejection. But I have yet to discover how this status relates to a decision pre-interview.
For all those who were offered an interview invitation from Temple, how was it communicated and what was your new status?
After looking through more threads, it appears that those who were offered an interview had their status changed to: "INVITED FOR INTERVIEW."
