Hello Friends,
As you know, the US dental schools admission Policy is going to change soon(from 2010).In fact,International Dentists will no longer be permitted to take NDBE unless after their enrollment an US Advanced standing program and in order to get Licensure...
There is a Question here:
Supposing that I will take NDBE in 2009, how long will it be valid for applying to US DENTAL SCHOOLS ADVANCED STANDING PROGRAMS?
I mean what will be the fate of 2009 NDBE scores of International Dentists?will it be valid for application to advanced standing programs for a specific period of time or will it be worthless from 2010?What will be the fate of a Foreign Dentist who will take NDBE in December 2009 for instance?!!!!!!It would not be fair if the ADA people ignore it from 2010...!!!!😡
I am very confused...please help me!
Good Luck!:luck:

The dead lines start rolling in around August 1st (LLU and UPITT) and then it goes from there. Maybe you could take the exam by June- July? This is only about February. You have plenty of time to study and get going.
Alternately check school web sites/ call them and find out what their plans are?

Dear La fea,
I might be able to take NDBE in November or December, not sooner.I am in my home country now and plan to immigrate to Canada soon .There is a little chance for me to enter Canada in the last months of 2009.I plan to take NDBE in Canada.I am now waiting for my Canada immigration process to be complete.
My major concern is whether or not my NDBE score will be valid after 2010?
You know I am very confused with the new rules.🙁
Thanks for your support my dear friend.:luck:

Thought that's what you might say.
Hmmm
Hey you are already ahead of the curve by thinking about all this. Maybe you can call/ e mail schools and ask them about it?
Schools are probably pondering this stuff anyway.
Hope things work out for you.😀:luck:

i think school will give their own exams - entrance exam. if number of students taking entrance exams are more then school may look into GPA and overall resume such as work experience etc. before inviting for entrance exam.

just my thought --

otherwise, as La Fea mentioned, it is best to call schools to know more details.
