I called I think around Feb 19th (the week after Feb 15th) or around the time that another member here posted that he has received the acceptance letter.

I only got to talk to the lady at the admission office and I asked if UTHSCSA has started sending out the second round of acceptance and if it would be a big pile of acceptances on one day or individual dates and she told me that they will have rolling admission throughout and call each person and letter will be sent (but probably received after the call).
i donno if she knew exactly if it's true or not but that's what i heard from her that day

good luck to everyone who is still waiting. im trying to figure out what i need to do in next months.. (probably start studying for DAT again after Feb 1st..)

thanks for information. I think you had interview in all Texas school. am I right?
 
what if they just told you they were full so you would leave them alone and stop calling. I can only imagine working in an admissions office...it would have to be so annoying with people constantly calling.

Lol! I realized that too. I think he just said Feb 1st bc he didn't feel like saying the start of Feb...

Anyways I called SA and they said they will be giving out acceptances until the first week of Feb, so surely before Feb 7
 
I don't buy that Baylor is 100% full. I think its to get people to stop calling.

I think we need to just relax. I know waiting can be stressful...I have been checking predents.com and this forum daily to see if someone has heard from Houston lately, but I think it is better not to think about the number of seats, dates, and the next big wave of acceptances...not worth it. If it happens, then great...if not, then back to the drawing board. But, I'll keep on pulling for everyone on this forum that they get in somewhere!:luck:

You don't have to buy their claim, which may be exaggerated, but not many acceptances come off the waitlist.

maybe its "full" meaning they have already assigned the spots to those people which will be in the coming wave of letters
 
guys, I can not study, I have three exams next week,(medical microbiology, neuroanatomy, and neuropharmocology, killing courses!) 😳
I can not concentrate 😕

Hopefully you will get in soon and you wouldnt have to worry about those tests. I am waiting myself 🙁.

i hope u guys all the luck this coming week and that good things happen to u guys in that span, especially danny and PTbecoming. i know the anxiousness u guys are going through, and hopefully it'll be over soon. relax and enjoy the super bowl for today.

FYI, I heard from ppl who called in that the letters should arrive sometime the 4th of Feb. I called last week and they informed me they're sending them in waves aka rolling admissions. That's all I know.
 
Also, does anyone know if Baylor is also doing a ~feb 1st wave? or are they finished? 😕:scared::xf:

ooo. i hope not. houston and sa aren't done. so maybe ppl rsvp'd baylor thinking they wouldnt get the other 2. and would maybe drop their baylor deposits once they hear from the other schools.:xf:

Baylor must be doing a Feb 1st wave of rejection letters cause I got one today. How pleasant. 👎

same here for Baylor, they moved faster tham usuall. Last year I got my rejection in April. lol 🙄
that means they are full or at least they have enough candidates.
 
I received my rejection yesterday as well. I guess they have most of their seats filled.

Did any of you guys interview? I thought they always rejected people not interviewed on Feb 1.

No interview here...but it was not my top choice so no real big loss but if accepted and not accepted elsewhere I would have taken it!

I didn't interview there and haven't gotten a rejection... yet.
 
Feb 20th, I guess. I'm so worried. I just hope that I should get in....I hope all of us should get in:xf:

don't give up hope! I called SA today, they said the acceptances will continue sending out in the next 2 weeks. It's not that Feb 4th is the last day.

yes, they said same to me. but the point is I am not in their acceptance list. That lady checked it out. 🙁 another cycle for me.

Danny, I thought they were not allowed to release that information over the phone or even email...are you sure? If so, sorry for the bad news 🙁.

I am still waiting for Houston. I think people will start receiving acceptances around mid-Feb when they hear back from everyone accepted on or around Jan 20th.
