You should get a confirmation email AND a complete email.... my complete email didn't come for a while.
Thanks! Thats much appreciated. I only applied to three schools and HMS is first of the trio of interviews thus nervousness has described my emotions as the date is fast approaching. Good Luck to you!

ok, but what is a while? I submitted my secondary and should have been complete at the end of september....
I submitted mine Aug 22 and got a complete email on Sep 7. Interview invite came almost two months later, though.
From what I have heard, the complete email can take anywhere from 2 weeks to more than a month.
It took over a month to get my complete email.
😱 its been over a month, and no complete email. Is there a way i can check my status online.. WTF![]()
Unfortunately, they don't have a status check page. I would suggest emailing them. Although with thanksgiving break approaching, they may not be working as much on processing applications right now. In any case, an email can't hurt.
email sent.. And just curious, harvard doesn't send out any rejections until march right? So those of us that don't get an interview invite by jan pretty much know we are rejected.... Seems like i already am rejected since people here have invites and submitted later than me. blehhh. Anyone with an invite mind sharing their undergraduate institution, gpa, and mcat?
Hey everyone, I am interviewing at Harvard HST program next tuesday (11/27/2010), but I haven't read much about it here on this thread. So does anyone mind sharing their experience about the HST interview and what kind of questions are to be expected? any information is appreciated.
out of curiosity, when were you complete?
Is it possible to cancel one interview (NP or HST) without it negatively affecting the other? I don't think I can come to Boston for two days and I have a strong preference for one of these.

First time I post in this thread... I got an interview invite on Nov 29th.
There's always some hope!
Congrats! 👍 When were you complete?
I was complete around when you were and still havent heard back, hopefully i'll hear some good news soonI was complete October 15th.
Has anyone sent an update letter pre-interview and received a confirmation of its receipt? I sent them one about two weeks ago, but never got a confirmation.
I haven't sent one yet, but am planning to. Did you send yours via snail-mail or email? And did you send it to the Dean or just admissions in general? I'm still kind of confused about the update process.
Come on Harvard. Give me an interview. In retrospect, maybe I should have applied to NP AND HST. Damn 6000 character essay put me off that day and I just went NP.
HST is a lot more competitive. For the entering class in 2009, (~30 students) 3 had Goldwaters and 5 had Rhodes, and only 2 came from public institutions (ASU and somewhere else).

Congrats. Looks like all the interview spots are almost gone since they only interview until January (Or is it that they give out interviews until the end of January 😕)

Ok then. Lets keep hoping Harvard shows us some love.
Does anyone here know the odds of getting in after getting an interview with New Pathway? I'm a Canadian so I don't really know much about wait-list movement etc. in the states. From what I can see its about 1/5, is this accurate?

It was like 1/3.7 for both pathways combined in 2009, but they interviewed 830 and accepted 224 according to one website. This year they received more applications but will only interview about 800 applicants, so the odds might be slightly better this year. This doesn't account for HST candidates, but if it did, the odds could improve significantly for NP.
Hey Choo, where did you hear they would only interview 800? I'm not doubting, I had just always heard they interview 1000. Plus my interview packet didn't have any specific estimates like that. Thx
Well, the interview day is kind of all a haze now, but in the morning orientation Ms. Gibson stated they were interviewing only 800 this year.
