How do I pay the secondary fee? I don't see a place to enter in my credit card information on the online application.
Just found out that they need 4 letters of rec - 1 Bio, 1 Chem, 1 Physics and 1 Humanities.
Looks like I'm out for this school....wasted $$ on the secondary apps.

has anyone actually been able to submit their application? my credit card keeps getting rejected. And i know the billing address matches the address on the application
Yes, I have submitted the fee and have confirmation too. Maybe try a different card?
Just got an email from them telling me my letters - 2 science + research mentor + nonscience + former employer - were good in lieu of the 3 science letters.Just found out that they need 4 letters of rec - 1 Bio, 1 Chem, 1 Physics and 1 Humanities.

hey guys - just submitted my secondary and paid. my status hasn't changed - i saw that other people experienced this as well. but how long did it take for your status to change after you submitted? and it seems the general consensus is that once you're complete on the status webpage you shouldn't be expecting a "complete" email from Jefferson? Thanks!
What is their maximum on letter of recs? From what I've read on the forum, I do not have nearly enough as in 1 bio, 1 chemm 1 physics.
Where is this information on their website? I can't seem to find it.
Can anyone post a link to the online secondary??
I received an email from Jefferson with ID and PIN but either I'm blind or they've done a tremendous job hiding it, I cannot find the link for the online secondary 😡

My mailing address is wrong online also -- I gave AMCAS my office and not my home address (I was considering moving while applying and didn't want to have to notify every school about the change of address)... and well campus addresses have alot of information, so Jefferson just totally nicked out the actual street address, haha. I am sure if they actually mailed me something they will notice that... but I do plan on sending an email soon.My preferred/mailing address is incorrect! They left off my apartment number. It was automatically entered for me on the online secondary. Anyone else have this issue? I emailed admissions.
This worries me greatly!!
And I'd really rather not mail them the application, since it takes long to mail and the PDF doesn't leave you as much space to write in the additional comments section.
I gave them additional information about me not included in my AMCAS and also updated my activities. Didn't mention why Jefferson - I applied so to me that means I am interested in your school, invite me to an interview and I will tell you why.did you guys answer this question :If there is any additional information you would like to provide please include it in the box below
what did you guys talk about? was it pretty much why Jefferson? And how long was this response?
AFAIK, I don't think anyone on SDN has gotten an "application complete" email from Jefferson.
It does say on the status check website whether they have added your LORs to your supplemental application or not. It takes a few days after submitting for this to happen, or at least it did for me.
strange...I got two "invitations to complete the secondary" emails, exactly the same email. The second one was after I had already submitted the secondary yesterday, and the three checkboxes say yes. thought it was a "you're complete" email....nope.
Same. I got another "invitation" about an hour or so after submitting the secondary and having the website say YES for everything.
As if Jefferson's website wasn't frustrating and unclear enough, even the emails don't make sense.

Mine doesn't say anything about my LOR even though I assigned it over a week ago in AMCAS. It just shows:
Application Status:
AMCAS Application Received? Yes
Jefferson Secondary Application Received? Yes
Jefferson Secondary Application Fee Paid? Yes
I called to ask if the website should update with LOR and the person I talked to said no. so strange.
I have the same thing. What should it say if they received the letters?
They had a lot of issues with their LOR status last year, so I think they removed the option this year to stop people from calling their office all day to check on the status of their letters.
lol little did they know that would cause even more calls to the office about the status of our letters...
I was looking over my Jeff app today and realized that they have my 'Preferred Address' down for my 'Permanent Address.' I'm moving to my Permanent Address in a month, so I looked up the AMCAS correction procedure and it involves resubmitting my whole primary application - do you think I should just call the Jeff admissions or resubmit? Will it put my application at the back of the line?

I'm in the same situation and I emailed AMCAS about it...they said it shouldn't affect my secondaries, but I'm still a little wary...
Hey guys, is the error from cut and paste or 4000 characters different from getting your credit card denied?
I've copied and pasted it quite a few times at 2000 and 4000 character length and previewed it fine (although the paragraphs were lumped into one). Everytime I have tried to submit and pay it with three different cards - mine, my mom and my dad's. The payment hasn't gone through with any of these and I'm not sure why.
I've been using firefox, but haven't tried internet explorer yet.
I'll most likely try calling them tomorrow.
I don't get any errors with pasting my ~3800 word response, its just that my payment gets denied. I was wondering if its a case of pure credit card issue or if the error could possibly be due to the character limit/pasting.
From an earlier post it seems like if it were the character limit/paste it should show up during the preview, but i guess since i make it past that it must be the payment. mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Haha. Right.
I feel slightly less weirded out. I ask because I know personally someone who is planning to send her 27 page essay to Temple as a 'supplement'. I'm trying to convince her it's a waste.
Maybe one of the adcoms will have had a rough day and position him/herself down into a nice brown leather sitting chair and pour off the remnants of a bottle of Courvoisier into a studded ice laden tumbler, as s/he is gripping the firm dried leaves encasing a Cuban cigar. Then just as s/he is about to retrieve a volume of War and Peace, to thumb through for the 200th time, s/he happens to glance upon your friends manuscript. Initially doubtful as to its intent, and skeptical of a student that detached from reality, the adcom begins to read the behemoth. A smile traced in the shadows emblazoned upon the adcom's face by the flames of his/her study fire as they flicker and tease the sides of a once magnificent evergreen, now dried and awaiting its release from this world. The edges of the adcom's now curling lips revel in a life so complete and complex as his/her eyes begin to traverse the pages of the manuscript, so engrossing that they seem to be turning themselves.
As the sun begins to rise and pour in through large bay windows of the office, slowly etching a world that was destroyed by the last flicker of a dying flame and the dull thud of the manuscript as it fell from the adcom's hand as s/he drifted off into a dreamless sleep. As the rays of light, seemingly powered as if by a force of the gods from above, began to expand through the room, finally revealing the manuscript, now marked by the adcom's tears of joy and sadness. The light slowly begins to illuminate the text that could only have been placed there by a stamp carried by the few worthy to wield the almighty power of an adcom, ACCEPTED...
I'm guessing this is the dream world your friend envisions... Let her dream... and who knows... It could happen... 🙂
👍 👍Wow. That's some craziness. Unless it has the formula for a cancer cure included in there it is most likely going to get filed in the round bin.
But who knows... I stopped guessing how these things worked a long time ago, that includes listening to how people say I should and should submit my application, etc. So, if she really wants to send it in, then let her.
