I interviewed september 17 and I found out on October 16, so they seem to be pretty good at getting those letters out early. Also, they send an email which reduces alot of the stress of checking the site or opening up snail mail.
BTW I was waitlisted. Got the letter last week (i.e. a week after acceptance notices). And the status changed to "correspondence sent" around the same time.
I'm sure there are others who got the same notice. I think if you didn't get any word you still have a good chance here.

hmm so weird....
My pessimistic side finds it interesting that no one has reported rejections yet...which may mean those that have not heard back yet may be in a bad spot...
take a look at last year's thread; you won't see any (maybe one or two) post-interview rejections.
OH thats even more interesting. Do you think that is because people just aren't reporting them or Temple doesn't reject many of its interviewers? I remember them saying that at our interview that they don't do many post-interview rejections...but I didn't know how valid that claim was
People tend to under-report waitlists and rejections by a lot, but still the fact that it is seen so rarely on SDN probably means they don't reject a whole lot. If you consider the fact that they accept around 50% of interviewees and are not most applicants' top choice school (especially considering the COA) it isn't surprising that they rarely reject.

Guju, I'm in-state and it took me 2 and a half months to get an interview invite.
I interviewed here today and I LOVED it! Really, REALLY impressed. The only thing that sucks is that after this Friday's adcom meeting (I don't expect my file to go this week, they said it was unlikely) they're not meeting for 3 weeks. Then they meet the Friday before Thanksgiving, then no meeting again on Black Friday. Then they'll finally start meeting regularly again in December. Gah!

I'm honestly not sure. I guess it can't hurt. They did say today that they got more applicants than in recent years and they actually started doing interviews on Fridays as well, so they'll apparently going to be interviewing more people this year than previously. They are just dealing with more applications than they're used to.

I interviewed the 26th yesterday and they said they will have one more committee meeting this friday then they won't meet for 3 weeks due to administrative meetings. So if you don't hear back next week we shouldn't expect anything till after Thanksgiving.

Samesies. That said, they said we might hear something the week OF Thanksgiving, as that's the week after their next committee meeting. Then no meeting on Black Friday, and then they start meeting again regularly in December (But I imagine not on Christmas Eve).
So you were there, too, huh? I want to know who you were! PM me! I'm pretty sure I was the only one there that mentioned having a kid. 🙂

I am really hoping to hear something next week then...haha. I was counting on that 4 weeks they quoted me to at least hear from somebody. Oh well.
dudeee.. just checked my status and now it says 'correspondence sent', that sounds like terrible news. if i were accepted it would say so wouldn't it? i'm pretty sure i'm now waitlisted or rejected. damnit! 🙁

Hey, I wouldn't be so discouraged. I just got the same status change, but I am still hoping it could be an acceptance. When my status changed from under review to interview invite I never got an e-mail formally inviting me for an interview like some people have gotten, so I think it can be variable.

Just got an interview invite! I haven't scheduled it yet but there are no open dates until the end of January. Still, I'm so excited!

Congratulations!! When were you complete? I havent heard anything and submitted mid August. I am reapplying and last yr had the "under review" status until May when I was rejected. I wonder if they are still inviting people complete back in Aug.

I interviewed on 10/13. I'm trying to be optimistic, I interviewed for the MD/PhD program and was told I would hear first about just med school and then a couple weeks later about the MD/PhD program, I felt I was pretty competitive for program and am really hoping to get in, so a straight rejection from the med school would be really disappointing.

I kinda thought I might fit in better there, based on the people we met, and those facilities, I'm in love. If I'm ultimately accepted to both I'll be attending both second looks, I think, and I'll be waiting to see my financial aide package from both.

Accepted!!! Interviewed Oct. 14th and got an email Oct. 29th😍
School was amazing and after the interview it was my number 1!
Still have 3 more interviews but unless they are anything like Temple, they
won't see me next year!

I haven't heard back. They said they would make decisions at the end of October. They should be getting back to us shortly.
There seemed to be a slight lag in communication between Temple and St. Lukes, so perhaps St. Lukes made decisions on Friday and is in the process of communicating this info to Temple.

It was their first interview day. I think that was 10/12

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you didn't see it in some of the other posts in the last page or so, this past Friday was the last adcom meeting until the Friday before Thanksgiving. Boo!
They obviously don't meet on Black Friday, either, but they should start meeting regularly again in December, at least until Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, which both fall on Friday this year. I'm hoping everyone here that's already interviewed and hasn't heard get gets good news in time for Turkey Day, myself included!

I wouldn't worry too much... Geekchick is right they met this past friday. I interviewed on the 20th and they told me that I should find out sometime this week so you probably will too.
