Thanks KelMD! I wasn't included what seems to have been the latest round of pre-interview rejections this morning. I'm hanging in there for the homestretch. I'm glad to have an acceptance, but I would love to stay in Boston for a whole host of reasons (family, friends, wanting to live in the area forever, etc.).

I am in the exact same boat as you are!

Finally got some word today. Rejected. :/ But I didn't get this app in until November, which was a mistake.

But luckily Stanford and BU are my absolute top choices and they haven't gotten back to me yet. :xf::xf::xf::xf::xf:

Good luck to everyone out there who got rejected today!

I know Tufts has interviews this week and next. I think another round of acceptance/rejection/still under consideration is due to go out sometime in mid-April.

No but did that email follow a rejection pre interview?

The admissions office said that all the applicants who did not get invited for an interview will receive an email to close their application. I haven't gotten anything from them so just wondering if anyone else did.

It sounds more like a revisit day than a revisit weekend

Did this info come via email?

Close their application? I think that they would do that for you... I'm not sure what you mean by closing out the application.

were you guys waiting for a pre interview rejection or post interview decision?

It is weird they sent so many pre interview rejections otu already and are probably finished inviting for interviews at this point but didn't send all the rejections yet.

I'm waiting for a pre-interview rejection.

Is there a time Tufts tends to call/send out rejections post-interview? I interviewed March 3rd and I am getting antsy. :xf:

They review interviews on the first Friday of every month I believe, so you should hear back this week. If not, call them on Friday morning.

They tend to send an email regarding contact information to all interviewees prior to decisions. Decisions seem to go out a few days after that via phone and email.

Regarding rotations in the clinical years, how do the rotations to places farther out like Baystate work? Does Tufts help with housing (paying and/or looking for)?

Which rotations do most students go through while at Baystate? The longer ones or shorter ones?

If you CHOOSE to rotate at Baystate, it will be the entire 3rd year. You will not be sent there for individual rotations. I hear Baystate is a great experience. There is a lot more interest than you might expect.

Does anyone know if deferred applicants/waitlisted people receive another "contact info" email for their second notification? Good luck to everyone hearing back this week!

I think it is very plausible that they will send out an email to everyone that was d list asking you whether you want to remain on the d list in attempts to limit the number of applications they have to Re-review or whatever it is they are planning to do.

Anyone here anything yet for anyone that interviewed in March? Did everyone also get that update your contact info message or was it just to some people?

I haven't heard anything. Do they really just send out letters? How could they possibly confirm that someone was notified by this week with that method? Does anyone know if they call and/or email?

Edit: I think the email to update contact information went to everyone who interviewed in March.

They call people that got accepted. They leave a message if you miss the call. I strongly suggest putting your personal cellphone number in your contact info.

PS: Haven't heard anything either.

Nothing here. Maybe no calls today at all? :xf:

For all of you March interviewees (me included) anxiously awaiting contact from Tufts, I looked back in the thread from last year and they didn't hear back until April 15th. However, they got the contact email on the 14th... so I don't know what that means. 😕 I would expect if they had called to hand out acceptances already at lease ONE person would have posted. SDN is usually at least THAT reliable.
