ASTRO's Committee on Physics Curriculum for Residents recently published 2010 updates to the Core Curriculum today, 5/18/10, onto the ARRO website. Some changes in curriculum include addition of Radiation Incidents and Bioterrorism Response Training and updates that reflect new treatment techniques and modalities.

I like how we are suddenly lumped into the "Radiation Terror" response team just because there happens to be Radiation in our job title. Emergency medicine physicians would be far more suited to this type of work IMO. Radiation Oncologists are not trained to handle emergency scenarios like this.
