Thought I'd get my feet wet with a first post in here.

Got rejected by UC Irvine today, didn't even approve me for a secondary.

About me in capsule form:

PA resident
M.S. Bioengineering
B.S. Bioengineering
Minor in Japanese

3.0 undergrad science, 3.4 grad science, 32S MCAT (12/9/11/S), 5 years developing artificial hearts, another 3 years working as a perfusionist in a children's hospital, plenty of life experience including significant time living abroad. Minority.

I got the competetive secondaries back from Minnesota and Loyola. Haven't heard from anyone else.

Been feeling up and down throughout this whole process. Not so busted up about the UC thing since I'm out of state and didn't feel strongly about going there. Still would have been a nice ego boost.
