I accepted today off of the waitlist, but plan on declining. Good luck!
well, i havent been accepted, but the site is blank for me as wellHey everyone, wondering if any of you have had the same issue. Tried to log in to see my acceptance packet again, but the page is blank...
Has anyone heard anything about the alternate list/waitlist? AMC usually builds it up in early June, right?
+1heyyyy, neurotic pre-meds. I just got that lovely "ohai wanna be on the waitlist fill out more paperwork i know how much you love paperwork" e-mail that everyone's been waiting for. So they've probably already made some cuts.
I'm just not going to fill it out. I want someone with no acceptances to get this one.
Got an acceptance this morning, my first acceptance after five years of applying to medical school. 1 acceptance, 51 rejections total.
Pretty much in complete shock.
Are any AMC students checking this anymore? I'm sooo anxious to find a place to live, any suggestions!?!?
Ahhhh finally accepted to AMC and soooo excited! Can anyone tell me the dates for orientation and registration, white coat ceremony and first day of classes?? I couldn't find it on the website. Thanks in advance!!
head on over to the Facebook page to connect with your fellow classmates for housing.

From what I've been told, the curriculum/class schedule is pretty fluid. A buddy of mine who's gonna be an M2 this year, said that it varied so often that he hesitated to give me his class schedule as it most likely wasn't going to be the same. But hell, if anyone finds one, toss it on up, it'd be nice to know how things are going to go so I can maybe try to stay on per diem at work.
Orientation...
Your white coat ceremony will be part of orientation. If things are the same as previous years, it will NOT be a family/friends type of event. I'm pretty sure it's going to be Tuesday afternoon.
Wait-- Parents cannot come watch the white coat ceremony??

Hi, does anyone know what to do about financial aid if you are on the alternate list and still waiting? I filled out my fafsa and it asks me to send my proof of citizenship to prospective schools, but i am still waiting...what to do...😕
Yah I agree. Every other med school in the country invites family to be a part of this monumental event and achievement. I strongly disagree that your family's presence takes anything away from the seriousness or "sanctity" of the event. If anything, it should intensify the pressure on you to uphold and adhere to the ethics of the profession, having taken the oath in front of those you love.Parents don't come to White Coat! That stinks. It is a time to celebrate with family over a tough and stressful year, that policy needs to be looked at again.
