Pass/Fail first two years (no internal ranking) and then graded during the clinical years.

Does that mean AOA is based solely on M3? I'm not overly concerned about AOA, just curious.

Just got an email from AECOM asking if I am going to submit the secondary or not. I chose not to, but I didn't think I would have to actually tell them about it... Should I? I wasn't sure whether they would keep sending me a reminder email for secondaries until I say "NO." Didn't have this e-mail with other schools so just curious (it's not a big deal at all, I was just surprised they sent me an email about it).

I am an IS non-minority with a 29 mcat & 3.9 gpa. Is there any chance of me getting an interview with Einstein?

I got a 29 MCAT and received an invite a month after I turned in my secondary (around mid-september) it doesnt hurt to try....

maybe you can "withdraw" officially on amcas? i'm not sure because i decided not to turn in one of my secondaries too and they've kind of been bugging me about it via email. let me know if you ffind out what to do!

Just email them and tell them you're withdrawing your application. You don't have to, but then they can administratively close your application and stop thinking you intend to apply.

Interviewed this week. The school seems great, and the on-campus housing is so inexpensive (~$450 with utilities and internet) it removes the cost factor associated with most NYC-area schools.

I'm glad it seems like you had a good interview day. If any questions come up please feel free to pm me or any other Einstein student here on the forums. If you ever want a second look at the school just email admissions (sorry as of now we don't have a formal second look).

Withdrew from my interview here yesterday, I hope it opens up a spot for someone else. 🙂

Interviewing sometime in January/Feb - Just got the invite have to get back to me on specifics.
Complete - 8/31
cGPA - 3.7
scGPA - 3.74
MCAT - 32

There is hope out there for those that have been complete a while ago...thought I was out of it!!

Anyone know the percentage of people that get accepted from interviews (is it 1/3)?

Does anyone know how Einstein feels about post-interview letters of intent or letters of interest?

Thank you in advance! 😍

Admissions encouraged me to send an update letter, and with about 1500 interviewees, I think a letter of intent is a great idea (assuming it's really your top choice).

This is my first time on this thread and I had a few questions I am hoping someone can answer.

I was complete on October 25th, and still have not received an interview invite, is it to early to start freaking out???

Also does anyone know how long their interview season lasts? Is this still early for them, or is there still plenty of time?

ANY HELP would be oh so greatly appreciated!!! :claps:

:luck::luck:😕😕

I know someone last year who was interviewed and accepted late in the season (Feb/March) so I wouldn't be too worried. Try sending them an update letter if you have new activities to add to your application. I just sent them one and they were quick to update my file. And I was complete waaaay before you (mid-Sept).

Good luck!

just had my interview here today - absolutely loved this school. students seemed absurdly happy, interviewer was kind (as were all staff), and the Bronx seems like an amazing place to learn. really hoping for an acceptance here.

i interviewed here in late october, any idea when we're supposed to hear back?

They supposedly don't get back to people till January. I wanted to send a letter of interest/update letter. Does anyone know who I should send it to? Should I just address it to the admissions office?

I forgot to mention that I have already interviewed so it's not a "please look at me!!" letter haha its more of a "please know how badly i want in!!" letter

Interview invite today and was complete way back in early September! Hope springs eternal!

Anyone interviewing next week??

Edit: Also I sent a request to speak with a researcher. Does anyone know if you get an email back about it and when?

Hi! I was complete 10/8....still no word either :/ ....keep ur head up! =) good luck!!!!

Huh, I had more or less given up hope but I was given an interview invite today. Does anyone know if, for an interview post February, I would be interviewing for a real chance at the school or just a waitlist spot?

II today! Complete 11/1, scheduled for mid-Feb (earliest available).

Anyone know how they feel about pre-interview letters of interest or updates?😕

hey guys, new to sdn. just got an interview invite this morning at einstein (going for mid-february). unfortunately, it's my only one for now and i submitted most of my applications in mid-september... do you guys think it's getting to that time to start worrying???

if you're getting interviews then you shouldn't start worrying. getting the interview is the hard part

nah i think given the time you submitted you are in the clear. One is better than none. If it were February/March then maybe.

Goodluck!

secondary submitted Oct 3
Completed Oct 10
Interview Invite Dec 1

🙂

Interview Invite this morning 🙂
Complete Nov 8
Scheduled for first week in march. Hope it's not too late. I am going to look throught last years thread to see what happened to people with march interviews. Hope its good news :xf:

Same Interview Invite this morning, complete 10/27. Let me know what you find, I'll keep my fingers crossed
It seems like a couple of people were accepted (without first being WL).

II this morning as well! Nice treat right before my last final of the semester! I won't be interviewing until March either (the email said to choose dates after March 1). Complete 10/28/11. OOS 32/3.9ish. Congrats to everyone who got invites today and good luck to everyone still waiting!

Did anyone apply early decision? If so, what were your stats and the decision that was made?

II today 😍

Was complete on 10/19

Edit: my email said earliest March 12th. Thats.... REALLY late. Oh well.

Edit 2: Wow that was quick! They responded to my email right away. Interview is scheduled for March 16th

it's not that bad! when i went to my interview in november, a lot of the first year students were stunned at how early we were interviewing and mentioned that most of the people in their class got in with february - march interviews!
