I interviewed first week of October and still have the "Your application will now proceed through the process..." status.
 
Interviewed 9/19, waitlisted. Does anyone know if they'll accept periodic updates on our activities?
 
To those accepted, congrats! Were you notified by snail mail, e-mail, status check?
 
Is everyone accepted in close proximity to Philly? As in, have any left coasters received word? 😀
 
CA Resident. Interviewed 9/26.
No decision made on status check.

does DUCOM send complete letter? or is it all by status check via website?
 
I never got a complete email, everything was by website.
 
Status just changed to "A final decision has been reached and a letter will be mailed to your preferred address." today. Is the

final decision = accepted/rejected
decision = waitlist

holding strong this season?

Only saw one person confirm this, curious about the other people accepted/waitlisted?
 
Just got an invitation for interview. Yea! First date available? Jan 5th. Boo!

I'd like some feedback on this as well. I'm waiting for my "final decision" letter 😱. The status just changed this afternoon. So many questions: Is it in the mail already? How long does it take mail to go from phili to central NJ? Why did they have to send decisions by mail? Why is the admissions committee torturing me?
 
On hold. Meh. Seems no one has received an II after being on hold?

Yep. decision = waitlist.

Letters go out within a couple days of the decision status, but can take 7-10 days to reach you. It was pure torture last year.
 
For those of you just receiving interview invites. When were you complete?
 
Any status change from people interviewing last week? (9th thru the 14th). Hate to be just another neurotic SDN'er... but, it can be contagious!

Interviewed last week... application is now with committee... oh dear.
 
My status changed to "final decision reached" sometime late Sunday/early Monday; I live in Philadelphia but I still haven't received any correspondence. Anyone else in the same boat? Would it be appropriate to call the admissions office tomorrow to check on the status of my letter? I'm afraid it may have gotten lost in the mail or something...
 
JKM, what status do you have exactly? Is it the... if you have already interviewed your application will now progress through the process one, or some other status?

I interviewed a couple of weeks ago. My status: "Your file is currently under review by the admissions committee. No decision has yet been made regarding your admission status to Drexel of University."

Last week my status was "...with a committee member..." A few days before that was the "If you have already interviewed..." status.
 
Thanks-- good luck!! I'm wondering if the timing has to do with how long it takes for interviewers to return their evaluations to the admissions office. Pure speculation. More waiting ahead.

Really liked the community at Drexel. Hope you get good news.
 
What does this mean for status? "Your file has been reviewed and will be re-evaluated later in the season for a final decision." Am I basically rejected?

it means exactly what it says. they will look at it again later, and they've made no decision.

Figure I'm in the same boat as you... interviewed several weeks ago and still have the "interview has been scheduled...".

I would think that it just takes different amounts of time to get the info from the interviewers (faculty and student). I personally thought mine would move fast as my interviewer was the director! But, maybe they're waiting on something else...

Don't you love waiting?

I was complete 10/5, but I had the "No decision available" status for the past few weeks. It just now changed to "Complete and will be reviewed." Strange.

I interviewed 9/20. I had he "final decision" status on Friday 10/14. Nothing yet. I've also got mail forwarding set up so it may take a couple more days to get to me. I was flipping out the past two days then decided to just keep cool and try to come to terms with the decision they made when it finally arrives. I really liked the PIL, and the student interviewer told me there's a clinic nearby that lets med students actually evaluate real patients and send reports to docs. It would be so great to go there. Here's hoping.

And congratulations to all the acceptees! I hope to see you there!
