No one knows outside of admissions how many come off of "hold" as far as I know. Historically, based on SDN, not many come off it.
If I recall, Drexel interviews around 1300 and has 260 in the class. From past stats, acceptances were given to around 600 (no time to find the average number). They take applicants off the waitlist up to and during orientation week.
The turnaround time from interview may be up to 12 weeks, probably closer to 8. There is a person who reviews the faculty interviewer's notes and the student's interviewer's notes (I think they're blinded to your stats), so this adds time to the process, unfortunately.
Oh and for what its worth... I didn't get my MCAT scores til the end of September (back when I was applying). I interviewed at 5 schools overall and was accepted to 3. Early is better, but later is not out of luck.
Oh, yes, generally the cafeteria sucks. But, its better than nothing. Most students don't come to lecture anyways.
Good luck and go Phillies!
