Could the last group of rejections give me some idea of when you were complete? I've been complete for about a month, and I am about ready to jump out of my skin because I haven't heard a peep since the completion email. Have I officially entered limbo? GAowdhodfha biafuauhf ioh bb!!!!

I have been complete since July 29....not a peep since. Have they rejected people from this date or after yet? or is the ace still coming? the only interview i have is from the hardest school i applied to, none of the "easier" ones. Weird
Everything seemed to run okay for me, except that united lost my luggage 🙁
But what a beautiful day in DC, and GTown is an amazing campus, been having a good time just checking it all out.
I made it smoothly as well. Is the same Old Man that I met in last week in Rochester? If so I guess I'll see you tomorrow, I'm really excited about this interview!
Anyone else having the same problem uploading the photo as I am? I can't seem to get the file size of the word document (or pdf for that matter) below 600 KB without making the picture extremely small. So small that you can barely tell who I am. Any advice?

If you are just resizing it in Word, I don't think the size of the file will actually shrink. You need to copy the picture into Paint or some other image editing program and scale the resolution down that way, then paste it back into Word. Either that or the picture needs to be cropped to a headshot if it is not that already...I have a head and shoulders passport-esque photo that is in a 143 KB Word doc.

I interviewed this last monday and loved it. I love diverse programs and education philosophy at Georgetown. The campus is gorgeous and the whole interview impressed me very much.

That's good to hear! I am interviewing here later next week. Does anyone who recently interviewed have any tips or advice on what I can expect for interview day?
Expect Awesomeness. I know thats not helpful haha -- but don't worry, the interview is the last part of your day, so they've already sold the school to you by then. Your interview is very genuine because you truly want to go there after the whole day of tours/information sessions. Don't worry about it, it was really enjoyable. Good luck!
those fortunate enough to receive interview invites? do you mind sharing approximately how long after receiving the complete email you received the interview? In a rush so I can't look through this whole thread on my own atm.

The interview thing was always there, you just didn't notice it.
You will get an email saying "Interview Invitation" in the subject line. If you just got directed to a status decision page, it is probably a rejection. Sorry

Rejected 9/21. Complete 8/29.
For those of you who were rejected, do you mind providing some stats? I am slightly worried. I submitted on 8/29 and did not receive a rejection letter yet. I want to go to this school really bad and am considering sending them a letter, pre-interview. Any thoughts? I have a 30Q Mcat and 3.7 cum. and sci. G.P.A.

Some of the people that got rejected had GPAs as high as 4.0 sGPA , 3.9 cGPA and MCAT scores as high as 38. So stats really don't mean much it's your whole application that will matter in the end of the day.
Did someone with those stats say they were rejected? I must have missed that post...
31-35 MCAT, 3.0 cGPA, 3.6 sGPA (Astronomy from 2003 is bringing the whole thing down).

Aviatrix stats:-Rejected. I was expecting this one, but I just wish they'd just come out in the email and say it. I'm not fond of having to download my rejection letter.

There was also another person with a 3.9 cGPA and sGPA with a pretty high MCAT score that got rejected. I'm too lazy to go all the way back in the thread and check.
Hey everyone, do you think I should send a letter to Gtown pre-interview? I don't have really anything to update, but would like to show explicit interest. This is one of the schools that I really wish to attend. What do you guys think? I want to do something pre-rejection. Thank you!
I think you should wait a bit. They probably haven't even looked at your app yet - I submitted late Aug also and haven't heard a thing. From what I've heard, schools aren't really into Letters of Interest pre-interview, but this is from my short experience as a med applicant. I say wait off until November or December, and if you haven't heard anything still, send a letter of love. Good luck!

But, yes, they are looking at more than stats...and everything else you've done. I probably didn't make a compelling enough argument for why I should go there.
