My status hasn't changed.

Your file has been reviewed by the Committee on Admissions. The review process is continuous from now until the conclusion of our interview season in mid-April. If you are granted an interview, you will be contacted by phone and/or e-mail.
 
From what I found on the 2010-2011 Stritch Application thread they called and sent a letter last year. I know its a (708) number they call from. However, I don't think everyone who was accepted was called. Good Luck Everyone!!!
 
I am a fool of epic proportions. I missed the due date because I had written in my planner incorrectly (yes i deserve to be kicked in the butt a thousand times for this..and i take full responsibility)...and missed the due date. I will e-mail them to ask about an extension after my due date passed. I was still able to submit it though (3 days after).

I had the same problem. If your application portal is still open, you can submit. I think I submitted mine 3-5 days after the official due date.

Did you call and ask if it was still acceptable? They sounded stern in their disclaimer about "assuming you are not interested and closing your file" . Well good luck!

When I called, they were totally fine with it and very nice on the phone.

I got the acceptance call a couple hours ago, but didn't have my phone on me! That was definitely the best voicemail I have gotten in a very long time!

I interviewed at Loyola today and overheard him calling applicants with acceptance notices. Maybe he was leaving you a voicemail! Congrats! I really liked Loyola and am hoping for the best!
 
Accepted! Got the call around 5pm 🙂 Loyola is one of my top choices 🙂

Any news out there for anyone else? I feel the urge to just drive down there (I live pretty close) and take it all in haha. July can't come soon enough!
 
still nothing. not feeling too hopeful but would like to know! hopefully something will come in the mail tomorrow.

I believe I've seen you were accepted elsewhere though, so no sweat! Fingers are crossed for you, though.
 
got the "your application has been reviewed..." status. Moop. Could be better, could be worse
 
I'm in the same boat hurricane123. I really hope I find good news in my mailbox tomorrow. I know they sent letters out Monday so the letters should arrive tomorrow. Is the status of everyone accepted "Status feedback not yet defined!!!!"? Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Does anyone know if there is any way to tell if your app has been reviewed again since you have been put on hold? Does the status change back to "Under Review..." ? I'm just curious if they have looked at my app again since I was put on hold in July!
 
I have had the status of "your file is still under review" since early september. Will they change it once they get to it? Or does that mean they still have not gotten to it yet?

Could someone who got an invitation to interview recently please post when their application was complete?

I got my invitation to interview on 9/28 and my secondary was done sometime around 9/12 or so. I have heard from others that it may take a lot more time to get an interview invite, so I wouldn't sweat it just yet.

I've had that status since September 9. It's hard to wait, but we have to be patient! 🙂 :luck:

That makes me feel better, I went under review 9/28. Best of luck to all, and congrats to those that don't need it anymore!
 
Had a dream that I got an interview invite but to schedule it I had to beat a game of tetris which was neverending..i hate the waiting game.

I did receive a call, but not a letter yet. I'm thinking it will be in my mailbox today.
 
Does anyone know if Loyola is receptive to update/interest letters?

Agreed, but its the nature of the beast. Just stay confident in yourself and I'm sure good things will happen 🙂
 
Congrats TraumaMed! I can only imagine the relief. Did they not call you then to let you know that you had been accepted?

Also, I have an interview with them on Tuesday, any advice or insight as to what to expect?
 
Still no official letter for me. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.
