During the interview I was told they wouldnt be sending out acceptances until january or february. So they must have really liked you!

They told me that after the second interview date (which was 12/1) the committee would meet and make preliminary offers to some applicants. But then they would wait to make most of the offers after the January interview dates. Good luck to you! By the way, how awesome was that ice rink and simulation center 😀

Did anyone hear back from UVA?

I heard a couple of people said they were on some sort of "shortlist" and they make 80% of their offer next week. Does that mean they send out some offers already and we are just not amongst those that are accepted? Or they haven't send anyone anything yet?

Got a phone call from the program director confirming that no official acceptance will go out until February because of coordination with the SOM. However, second look dates are fixed and they are calling candidates to encourage them to hold the dates etc...... good luck to all!
