I hope so too. I receive my background thing a few days ago. i interviewed for a few other schools too so i am not sure which school requested it. From what i am reading on this forum it appears it might have been Meharry, hoping so.

Is there a facebook or any other social media group for accepted students? I have a few more interviews to attend, but thus far I have been the most impressed with Meharry and I am thinking that it will be home for the next 4 years. Good luck to everyone still waiting on an interview invite!

Has anyone come off of the "preinterview hold" list or is there a specific time frame that those apps are reviewed?
Also, does everyone get onto this list if not invited to interview or has there been significant rejections already?

Meharry is definitely one of my top choices. I interviewed at 2 other schools that are tied with Meharry on my top choice list, I might have to make a really tough choice if I also get accepted to them, but currently I havent heard back from them yet. I am waaay above cloud 9 at the moment though 🙂

I was waitlisted as well 🙁. I interviewed the same day as you vcn3333. I wish they would have waited a day to send out those emails. My heart dropped out of my chest just hours before my Valentine's day festivities :-( But the waitlist is better than rejection...i pray I come off

Fingers crossed. Really liked the people at Meharry. I recall Mrs Davis saying that the chances are pretty high for those on the wait list. We'll see how that goes. The wait will be nerve-wrecking though. Crazy times ahead!!

Me toooo!! I went apartment hunting after my interview and everything; I guess that was a little hasty. God put me on this waitlist 'cuz He wants my butt to slow down 🙂
Nerve wrecking doesn't even begin to describe what these next few months will be like but she did say they fill the class about 3 times so...

I interviewed in the pm. I remember her saying that too. The waitlist email got me really dazed. Let's see how the whole thing goes down.

I had my interview for Meharry Monday 13th.This was my first medical school interview ever. I loved the school and everything they stand for. My interview wasn't really like I though it would be. The interviewer just asked me about a few grades, my MCAT, and some of the activities on my AMCAS? I was thinking to myself, "why are they asking me mainly about stuff I already put in my AMCAS?" Anyway. I guess now, it's just a waiting game.

I just got an interview invite in my email today. I'm in a post bac program and my application was complete very late, so there is still hope. I'm just nervous that because my interview is so late, I'm just waisting my money on travel...But, I won't know until I try, so God willing, this can only mean good things.
