I would think they still have interview dates left or they'd have just rejected all of us. I was complete 10/24 and haven't heard a word. I called for a status update this week and was told my application is still under review.
 
Just got rejected 🙁 Wonder if more will be rolling in for other SDNers.

Complete 11/9...no news yet. I hope I hope I hope I receive an interview! 🙂 Anyone else in the same boat (or complete at an earlier date) that are also waiting?
 
Does Tulane send out status update emails and are acceptance/rejection letters sent via email or snail mail? ...I'm hoping to hear something in the next week or so and I just want to know what form of contact I should be anticipating..

Complete 11/17
II Today for 2/6

Rejected, OOS, complete sometime in November.

Complete 10/24! Still haven't heard anything...I guess no news is still good news they would have rejected me by now so I guess I'm still in the running...atleast I hope!!

Two reasons: 1) I have yet to see someone pass the rejection wave (ie, other people complete on your same day or after were rejected but you were not) and not get an invite, and 2) they schedule your interview and send you the invite e-mail only 30 days before the date. A quick call to Suzanne may help me win this bet.

Haha, can I double down and get $20 for BSU being right? Seriously, call Suzanne tomorrow. I did that months ago and she told me that I would be in line to receive an interview; she even let me change the date on the spot.

If I seem to have passed a rejection wave and not yet received an interview invite, do you recommend calling according to your theory?
 
Has anyone called to find out when we will know the results from the files reviewed at the AdCom meeting on Tuesday?? When I called in December, they said I'd be reviewed on Jan 10 and that we'd probably find out on the 11th. I have called them so many times, I don't want to call again, but all this waiting is the WORST!
 
Called and file is still under review so no II yet and I dunno if there ever will be

There haven't been any acceptances sent since mid-December so I imagine we should probably be hearing from them soon.

I hope so ButterfingerBBs!!! I feel the same was as hoosier86 but I'm praying that the delay doesn't mean bad news... I'm just getting anxious waiting 😱

You should call!! Ask them when they are sending out the decisions from the meeting on Tuesday!!!

They might kill me if i call again... haha

When did you interview? I interviewed early Dec and have yet to follow up with a call. Wondering how long others have been waiting... anyone else?

When ya'll are posting your "complete" dates...are you posting the day you submitted everything? or are you posting the day they sent you the complete and under review email?

I submitted in November, but just got the complete and under review email about two weeks ago. I'm trying to understand which "wave" I am a part of.

The only date that matters is the date you received the complete email. The first wave of rejections are sent out about a month after that.

I've also been complete since 10/24, called last week and was told I was still under review. Is it worth calling again since people with later complete dates have recently received IIs?

I would say yeah, call again, as long as they don't hate you for some reason. 🙂

I sure hope so. :luck::xf::luck::xf::luck: Tulane has an earlier interview season cutoff than other schools (Feb 15th), so I feel we have until Feb 1st to hear some good news...

I'm basing that on last year's thread, where the last reported scheduled interview was handed out Feb-1st for a Feb-25th interview date. The good news is that a lot of late interviewers did seem to receive acceptances...it must make you want a spot all the more! I know it's like that for me! Lol

How do you know they're meeting today? I know they met last Tuesday and I thought they meet every other week?

Also, they usually don't release the decisions on the same day as the AdCom meeting, its usually later in the week (from previous posters).

That would make sense but isnt it strange that there was only one sdn acceptance last week and people like you who interviewed weeks ago have yet to hear back?

Well I finally found out a little about my app... one of the faculty members who interviewed me was out for "health reasons" for a while and hadn't written up his report on the files he interviewed... so that stack was set aside and passed over (including mine). SO frustrating. He is back now though, so our files are back in circulation and we should hear something soon... HOPEFULLY. I'm just not sure when.

Called again today for a status update and am still under review--complete 10/24. I really hope they aren't stringing me along for an eventual rejection! I was so optimistic since Tulane seems to reject people right off the bat if they're going to at all, but now I'm beginning to lose hope that I'll get an interview.

Thanks for the update and hang in there! I'm going to call tomorrow regarding my Nov app and see if they say something similar...
 
i interviewed 12/12, the admissions office said my file was reviewed today. will hopefully hear something tomorrow (complete 10/4)
 
we were lucky enough to get interviews, hopefully we both hear good news come tomorrow!
