Has anyone received a letter in the mail that explicitly says they are waitlisted, or is the letter that says something like "can not offer a seat at this time, but will be kept under continuing review until the end of the admissions season" the waitlist letter? This was addressed a while back in the thread, but I still don't know. I know people have mentioned active review emails, but i don't think the letter in the mail means the same thing...or does it?

From what I gathered here, that's likely to be a waitlist letter. It's different from the active review emails they send out.

I interviewed here tuesday. Guess that means they looked at my application today? Does anyone remember what they said about printing LORs and the status page? As of two days ago the status page said they hadn't printed them...

It takes a while Orleans, they'll get it done. I interviewed back in December, it took about a week or two.

Plus, if you're scared they don't have them, just call them... or be patient 🙂

Mine didn't show up on the status page even after my interview. I had to email Pat Sagen and she got it fixed about 2 weeks after my interview

it's not on the secondary. It's on the "check application status" page, underneath the link to the interview reservation link. On the check status page it has a red x next to your school if they haven't been printed.
I'm going to call next week, I just realized on friday my status page said they haven't been printed and I tried calling the office but I guess they were already gone for the day. Vandy is my new first choice so its got me a little anxious that it says they haven't been printed. And this has turned into such a miserable weekend already.

JUST got accepted by phone like 10 minutes ago (while just having finished another interview, ironic), got so excited/emotional that I forgot to ask Dean Zic how to accept our offer/pay deposit/etc haha. So how do we accept our offer? Are they gonna mail me a snail mail, by internet, or what?

Congrats!! Go on the online status page. After acceptance, a new link appears to accept the offer. You will also get the acceptance packet by snail mail that will also have info about second look, orientation etc

So I totally forgot about how they said they give your app to 3 adcom members and they evaluate you and then discuss. Guess that's why they say 6 to 8 weeks. Ugh I can't stand this waiting, its getting to be so late. They've probably given out like, 75% of their acceptances already.

Congrats to all accepted tonight! Welcome to the Vandy family! As others have said, you can accept your offer online (last year it was on the same site where you submitted your secondary). And we didn't have to pay a deposit last year...(yay!)

I think they said that goes out in april.
Except one guy was told he was getting a scholarship over the phone by Dean Zic, IIRC

I was accepted in October and received my merit scholarship offer in December. I think a second wave of offers go out in March.

Sorry to butt in with all the acceptances/ scholarship offers. I will be an applicant next year. From looking at the interview feedback questions for Vandy it seems that the interviewers asked a lot of questions from info that should have been on secondaries. I see that it is an open file interview (just one interviewer?), do they only have access to the AMCAS application and not the secondary? Maybe they didn't read your secondary? Maybe they did and just want to hear the info from the applicant? Things like tell me about your family, growing up, your life, etc., which I think relates to the secondary essay. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.😀

At the moment, its between Vandy and UTSW, about the same in costs. I have signifcant ties to UTSW so I may be breaking away to Vandy come July😍 We'll see

There's two interviews: one short and one long. The long interviewer only has access to your AMCAS application, while the short interviewer only has your name.
