2011 TBR Orgo teaches E1 vs E2, Ignore it completely or can it be in passages?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I also noticed this, but I decided to learn it anyway. It's pretty simple, really. E1 and E2 are analogous to Sn1 and Sn2 and help to form a complete organic chemistry map in your head.

It surprises me that TBR has this considering the writer for TBR Orgo seems to be self-conscious about what's not vs what's in the MCAT so part of me says he knows something we don't know so ye ill read it. I hope this is the only questionable thing cuz to that point, he's been mentioning things spot-on from MCAT.

I found that a lot of stuff that isn't on the AAMC subject list, but is in most course curricula, had a tendency to show up anyway with the basics given in the passage.

So everything you need to know is technically given, but it sure helps if you already understand it.
