Hi guys, I was verified on 8/14 and I've received every secondary except for Drexel. Is that weird? Or are they just slow?

Finally received my secondary this morning. I submitted my primary to them 1 month and 10 days ago I believe soooooooo since you submitted one month after me I would be expecting a wait. They aren't going in order though (I think that's the consensus), so my guess may be as good as yours.

does anyone know if there is a max number of letters? I too can't submit a non-science letter and see that someone above submitted 4 instead of 3 as a way to make up for it.. I would like to submit 5 and just want to see if anyone else knows the max number before I call them. Thanks!

My letter packet had 6 and they didn't seem to have any issue with it!

Does Drexel reject if they know they are not interviewing you? Has anyone gotten an interview after being re-reviewed? If so, did they wait til Spring or did you get an interview earlier than expected?

They didn't start sending them out until the first week of August. I was verified on 6/6 and got mine on 8/8. That means I had to wait 8 weeks. You only had to wait 5. Chill out.

I saw someone asked about the bed and breakfast, people have posted about excellent experiences with them in the past. They are also compiling a list of student hosts now so you can e-mail and ask if you prefer that option.

The thing that gets me the most is that the bed and breakfast place doesn't have a website! As much as I'd like the experience of staying with a student host, I tend to sleeptalk/walk when I'm nervous. I don't want to 1. freak out my host or 2. embarass myself, so I'm just going to pay for a hotel or something.

Eek. Stay away from Ambien. It tends to exacerbate those issues.

Yeah, mine still says that, too. I thought I might hear something from Drexel, because they had fast turn-around with other people and I was complete around the same time. I give up trying to understand their methods, though. It's clear we'll never understand the inner workings of Drexel admissions. 😛

What was the original status then? Under review? I think it just means that you're not put on hold until April and you're not rejected yet.

I agree. I would understand if they were sending the secondaries in the order the primaries got verified, but the way they're going about things seems really unprofessional.

I did still apply though, mostly because I didn't hear they were offering IIs until after I submitted my secondary.

Yes! Mine just changed to this but I don't understand the difference. Secondary received and submitted 8/16, got the complete email 8/21
