Anybody heard back who interviewed in December? #beinganervouspremed
Nope, how long did they say it would be before we hear a decision?
6 to 8 weeks... so I guess I'm jumping the gun a little lol. It seems like most of the decisions come through on the earlier side though. (maybe thats me being hopeful)
My letter came pretty much exactly 6 weeks post interview! I think I saw some decisions posted on here that were a little earlier, but I'd say 6 weeks is a safer bet.
Have to take into account the break as well though.
Well that's encouraging. I'm on week 5 right now so I'm hoping to hear good news soon.

I saw on SUNY Downstate's website that they say they do not participate in the US News and World Report's rankings. Have they ever participated in them in years past and if so where did they fall? I am just asking out of curiosity because I know that Tulane used to participate but now doesn't and I was wondering if that was the case at SUNY Downstate as well.
I interviewed 12/19 and nothing yet. If I get waitlisted I'll get the email around 1/19 from what I've seen on these threads. If I'm accepted, maybe a week or two after that to get the letter in the mail.

Major congrats! I'm keeping my fingers crossed; was complete in September, and waiting to hear back. I really wonder how much of this is chronological - if, at all.

I am pissed at this school. I just got an email from them saying my application was incomplete and I needed to finish it. I submitted in early August! So I was shocked to get this email.
Anyways, I log in and it basically just says "You are now complete."
Those are the only words. No buttons to click or anything. I just logged in and saw that.

Thanks bro, I'll be alright though I've gotten into a couple other places I'm really happy with. Agreed though, the process seems random and dumb at times.

Maybe! I still have a few more interviews and already some other acceptances, but I REALLY liked Downstate. I think it depends on what financial aid looks like (which reminds me that I still have to do my FAFSA :/ ). But I know for sure I'd be extremely happy here so there is a good chance!

haha like you it's one of my TOP choices. I don't have any more interviews but I'm waiting on a few more post-interview decisions. But if nothing new comes in it definitely looks like I'll be matriculating here!
Nice! I am interviewing at my TOP choice in two weeks, so if that doesn't work out there is a very good chance I'll be attending here. Can't beat in-state tuition! 😀

In my opinion you are. Your numbers are good and you got the interview. If you impress them you should get it 🙂
